The unusual silence of the rime mountain stream is really weird.  When the childish bark broke the silence, the two of them were surprised at first, and then overjoyed. They couldn't help but breathed a sigh of relief, and then they were freed from the depressing atmosphere.

Following the sound of the dog barking, the two people quietly stepped forward. After a while, they came to a mountain waterfall. Then, the two people saw an astonishing scene.

"What is this? A puppy swimming?"

It turned out that under the flowing waterfall, there was a small, palm-sized animal struggling desperately, and the wailing sounds came from its mouth.

¡°Perhaps because it was just born, the little khaki-colored thing could only wail miserably. The limbs that were not yet fully developed were completely useless and could only struggle in panic.  It seemed to want to swim ashore, but the current was fast and the whirlpools were constant, so it failed in the end. As time passed, its strength began to fail, and its wailing voice became smaller and smaller. It was obvious that it had reached the end of its rope.

Seeing this, Xiaoyun couldn't help but step towards the water surface. When he reached the shore, he tapped his toes and suddenly jumped a few feet. When he was about to fall, he raised his true energy again, tapped the water surface lightly, and then  Flying lightly again.  When he came to the place where the little thing fell into the water, his elixir energy sank. The moment his body fell, he suddenly lifted up the little guy who was on the verge of death.  Then he twisted slightly, made several leaps, and returned to the shore. His movements were smooth and neat, which attracted a burst of applause from the girl next to him.

That little fluffy thing may have exhausted its energy, but after being rescued by Xiaoyun, it fell asleep on his hand.

"Hehe, this little guy is really welcome." Xiaoyun stroked the little thing's hair, smiled knowingly, and then put it in his arms.

¡°This must be a little wild dog, right?¡± The little girl didn¡¯t expect Xiaoyun to love that little thing so much and asked curiously.

"Yes, I once raised one. Like this little guy, it was also a puppy I found in the wild. I called it Xiao Qi, but it failed to accompany me to the end.  "Recalling the past, Xiaoyun said with sadness.

"What's going on? Did you die of illness?"

"No, I was exhausted. When I was fourteen years old, I went hunting and accidentally fell off a cliff. Fortunately, I caught a vine next to me in time. Then Xiaoqi dragged the vine back step by step in order to save me  ¡¡±

"The next day, when I climbed to the top of the mountain, I found that the vines were wrapped around an ancient tree in the distance by Xiao Qi, and it was dead. It was still biting it in its mouth when it died.  That vine." After finishing speaking, Xiaoyun lowered his head and touched the little thing in his arms again.

"No wonder you would do this. It's really strange how this puppy appeared in this place. It looks like it was just born. If it is really a species in the rime mountain stream, it must be a very special kind and should be well cultivated."  Maybe he can become a spiritual beast." The little girl was thoughtful and comforted seeing Xiaoyun being so sentimental.

Xiaoyun nodded and smiled without saying anything, and then the two of them embarked on the return journey.

Xiaoyun didn¡¯t know that after he took the fluffy puppy away, the frightened beasts in the surrounding caves came out tremblingly.

At sunset, the two finally walked out of the rime mountain stream. The journey was peaceful and they were not attacked by ferocious beasts.

The fluffy little guy also woke up at this time, hiding in Xiaoyun's arms and rubbing against his chest, as if he wanted to poke his head out.

Xiaoyun smiled slightly, gently took out the small thing, held it in the palm of his hand, and stroked it lovingly twice.  The little guy seemed to enjoy this kind of touch. He squinted his eyes and yawned, which made the little girl on the side stunned. This this little guy is too humane. He is indeed the most spiritual person in the world.  species.

Feeling Xiaoyun's kindness, the little guy raised his head slightly, with a trace of doubt, a trace of innocence, and a trace of affection in his eyes.  It stood up tremblingly, rolled twice on Xiaoyun's palm, and then kept wagging its tail like a spoiled child.

"This little guy is really spiritual. It seems that he regards you as his own relative. I heard my father say that there are some spiritual beings in the world. After they are born, they often regard the first person they see as their parents. So,  In order to cultivate loyal spiritual beasts, monks in the world of cultivation often start cultivating the spiritual beasts before they have developed their spiritual intelligence." The little girl joked with a smile, and then told some secrets.

"Haha, maybe so. Dogs are the most humane creatures. As long as they become your partners, they will not betray you until death. In this respect, they are better than us humans." Xiaoyun looked at the palm of his hand.  The little guy said with deep feeling.

With this fluffy little guy, the two of them were not lonely along the way.

When the two appeared in Rime Village, someone had already informed the people in the village.??Elder.

"You two little guys are finally back. If you don't come back, I will send people to look for you." Elder Wu couldn't help but breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the two came back safely, and then said with a bitter smile.

"Haha, Grandpa Wu, this is not the first time I have gone out to collect herbs, not to mention that Brother Xiao, an innate master, is following me. What are you afraid of?" The little girl stepped forward and took the old man's arm, coquettishly.

"You little girl, I really can't do anything to you. Let me ask you, did you take Brother Yun to the Rime Mountain Stream?"

"What's wrong? Nothing happened." The little girl pouted and defended.

"Sure enough, your father guessed it. You don't know how anxious your father was when you didn't come back last night. Why don't you go back to report that you are safe?" After receiving the confirmation, the old man patted the little girl's head dotingly, helplessly.  The ground shook his head.

The little girl agreed, then took Xiaoyun's medicine basket. Before leaving, she winked at him and whispered: "My name is Wang Ling'er." Then like a line of blue smoke, she turned around and ran away.

"Haha, Brother Yun, this little girl Ling'er must have caused you a lot of trouble along the way." Elder Wu is so cunning. How can Wang Ling'er's every move be hidden from his eyes? After the little girl is gone,  He smiled thoughtfully.

"Old Wu is serious. Miss Wang is knowledgeable and talented, and I have learned a lot from her. If Miss Wang hadn't led the way, how could we have found so many precious medicinal materials and spiritual objects!" Xiaoyun didn't seem to understand the old fox.  With deep meaning, he replied calmly.

"Oh? Spiritual object, what kind?" When he heard the word "spiritual object", the old man's expression tightened and he asked eagerly.

"This is not the place to talk Why don't we change places and report to you again." Xiaoyun smiled slyly and patted the baggage on his body.

"Haha, this old man is being reckless. Alas I haven't seen a spiritual creature for a long time. I'm a little out of control. Brother Yun, please come here." The old man looked around, then suddenly realized, he apologized, and hurriedly took Xiao away.  Yun rushed to the wine shop.
