While driving, Dennis started chatting with Feng Bujue in the back seat.  After all, he was a stranger whom he had only met for less than five minutes, so it was impossible for him to completely let down his guard.  Therefore, this kind of communication can be regarded as a kind of trial.

Due to the limited information he had, Feng Bujue obviously felt powerless during the conversation.  Because he knew nothing about the era and place where this script took place.  Moreover, he could not tell anything about himself, such as the most basic information such as his birthday, home address, and whether he had any relatives.

Fortunately, Brother Jue was very smart. Not long after the conversation started, he said: "I may have had a slight concussion when the car accident happened, and my memory seems to have been affected."

With this sentence at the bottom, as long as he is asked by the other party, he can directly answer: "Sorry, I can't remember clearly", and then hold his forehead as if he is in pain.

So, during this not-so-long journey, the only information Feng Bujue revealed was: name, gender, and occupation.  On the contrary, it was Dennis and his wife who got a lot of information out of him

First of all, the year this script takes place is 1985; the location is a small European country called "Assali", which sounds like fiction.

Secondly, the man in front of me, Mr. Dennis Lovecraft, who exudes a rich and handsome temperament, is a businessman, mainly engaged in industrial pipelines.  And although his wife Carol has now taken her husband's surname, it can be heard from the words of the two that the woman's background is quite prominent, and she is much higher than the man.

This alone made Feng Bujue have a lot of guesses A handsome and stalwart man married a wife who was not very beautiful, but had a very good background.  Usually when this kind of setting appears in detective novels, the probability of a murder is extremely high.  For example, the man has a mistress outside, or he doesn't have one for the time being, and he plans to swallow up the woman's property and then find another one These are all very convincing motives for killing.

In addition, after some observation, Feng Bujue found that the couple seemed a little uneasy about the prospect of this trip.  It seems that the so-called "family gathering" is by no means an ordinary meeting of relatives and friends. There must be a lot of articles in it

"Look, we're here." Dennis' voice brought Feng Bujue back from his thoughts.

After the car turned a corner, a mountain villa appeared in Feng Bujue's sight.

The road ahead branched off into a fork, leading directly to the driveway in front of the villa.  Dennis drove in and came to the gate of the villa. He didn't get out of the car, but just honked the car horn twice.

Soon, a man in a traditional black tuxedo opened the door and walked out.  This man looked to be about sixty years old, and his hair was already gray.  However, her hair is still meticulously combed and her waist is straight.

"Oh! It turns out to be Master Dennis, welcome back!" The man said and came forward.

¡°There was a little delay on the way, are you okay? Henderson.¡± Dennis replied.

"Don't worry, Master, my body is still strong." As Henderson spoke, he came to the car and opened the door for the lady.  "Hello, Miss Carol."

"Thanks, Henderson." Carol got out of the car.

Dennis had also gotten out of the car at this time, and happened to see Henderson looking at Feng Bujue with doubtful eyes.

"Oh. Let me introduce you." Dennis said, "This is Mr. Henderson, the housekeeper This is Mr. Feng Bujue."

    "Hello."

    "Nice to meet you."

Feng Bujue greeted the other party politely.

"Mr. Feng met with an accident on the mountain road and lost his car and luggage. Fortunately, he was not seriously injured," Dennis explained.  "If it's convenient, please ask Olive (the maid) to prepare a guest room and a set of clean and fitting clothes for him."

"Yes, Master. I'll do it right away." When Henderson agreed, he had already taken out two large boxes of luggage from the trunk of the car.  Panting heavily, he turned around and went back into the house.

"It's so troublesome for you, Mr. Lovecraft." Feng Bujue was still very polite on the surface, but he was thinking in his heart: Two middle-aged men looked at an old man carrying such a heavy luggage, but they didn't express anything.  It seems so common maybe this could become a potential motive for murder

"Anyway, now that you are here, you are a guest." Dennis replied, "This is the proper way to treat guests."

While they were talking, a short man wearing a white shirt and overalls came out. This man was in his early forties, with a beard and a flushed face. He looked very energetic, "Master Dennis, Butler Henderson asked  I'll park the car in the garage for you."

"Well, okay." Dennis casually handed over the car keys.He handed it over to the other party and turned to Feng Bujue and said, "Oh, this is the gardener Barton." He paused and then said, "Please come into the house with me, Mr. Feng."

Feng Bujue responded and followed Dennis and his wife into the villa gate.

[The current mission has been completed and the main mission has been updated] The system prompt sounded at this time, but Feng Bujue was not in a hurry to check the menu.

After entering the house, he first observed the surrounding environment.  The foyer on the first floor is very spacious, the furniture is arranged in an orderly manner, and the wallpaper and furnishings are basically in cold colors, which seems to hint at the owner's character.  There is an oak ceiling above the head, which is extremely high; there is also a wooden floor under the feet, and it is also covered with a messy patterned gold carpet.  The windows are made of Venetian glass, and the window frames are painted blue-grey.  Looking forward, there are stairs leading to the second floor seven or eight meters away.

At this time, there happened to be a beautiful woman slowly walking down the stairs.

She looked to be around thirty years old at most and was wearing a green low-cut long skirt.  She has a charming appearance, her skin is as white as snow, her plump upper body is ready to show off, but her waist is embarrassingly slender.

"Dennis, Carol." The beautiful woman greeted Dennis and his wife warmly, "Oh! Are you okay?" She came over and gave the two of them a ceremonial hug respectively.

"Oh, Odetta, it's so nice to see you," Carol replied.

The words were like that, and the tone was very similar, but Feng Bujue didn't see any happiness in her eyes.

Dennis said tepidly: "How is father's health?"

Odetta's expression suddenly became much gloomier, "Uh about this I'll let Dr. Powell talk to you later." She seemed to want to change the topic, so her eyes fell on Feng Bujue and said  Asked: "This is"

Dennis briefly told Odetta about Feng Bujue. It is worth noting that the words he used when introducing Odetta to Feng Bujue were "my father's third wife."  (To be continued)
