Feng Bujue followed the housekeeper and ran upstairs. When he passed the corner of the stairs, he found a travel bag thrown by the aisle.  It must have been thrown down by Master Jack after hearing the gunshot.

More than a minute later, Feng Bujue followed Henderson to the door of the master bedroom on the second floor.  The door was open, and there was a fierce argument in the room.

One of the voices was obviously Dennis, who shouted emotionally: "This has nothing to do with you, Jack!"

Not to be outdone, Jack replied: "Hey! I'm not a three-year-old kid anymore. I have the right to know what you said to your dad to make him fly into a rage!"

"That's enough!" A third voice sounded. It was a voice that was relatively unfamiliar to Feng Bujue. It sounded low and powerful, "Shut up!"

    boom¡ª¡ª

There was another gunshot. Judging from the sound, it came from the same gun.

At this time, Odetta and Carol had also heard the sound and appeared from the other end of the corridor.

"Oh, my God! What happened" Odetta said with a worried look on her face.

Carol's expression was similar to hers, looking embarrassed.

These were not the only people who were attracted by the sound of gunfire. The maid Oliver and the gardener Barton whom Feng Bujue had met before, as well as another tall and thin man in his fifties wearing glasses who he had not seen yet, also came here.  Appeared in the corridor one after another.  Everyone had a look of surprise and uncertainty on their faces, and they all said things like "What happened?" and "I heard gunshots."

"Master, you two young masters" Butler Henderson was the first to step through the door, "This"

No one in the room answered his words, and the scene fell into oppressive silence.

Feng Bujue didn't care about that. He quietly approached and looked over Henderson's shoulder into the room.  There are three people in the bedroom in front of me, except Dennis and Jack, the third one.  Naturally, he is the master of the Lovecraft family.

In the eyes of ordinary people, Dennis's appearance is considered tall and majestic, but compared with his father, his temperament and momentum are far behind.

The appearance of this head of the family is unforgettable at a glance. His face is resolute and clear-cut, his eyes are cold and calm, and his every move reveals the majesty of a superior person, giving people an unparalleled, unquestionable and inoffensive feeling.  Feel.

"Well no wonder it's quite stylish to marry a wife who is thirty years younger than myself." Feng Bujue thought to himself.  His eyes moved quickly, observing every detail in the bedroom.

At this time, the old man was sitting on a sofa chair, wearing a crimson nightgown. In his hand was a silver-bodied Colt revolver with a wooden handle, a classic six-shot model, with a gun still on the muzzle.  Smoking.

Both Dennis and Jack were standing two meters away from him, and they didn't look like they were injured.

"Tchit turned out to be just shooting at the ceiling to demonstrate" Feng Bujue thought to himself, his mentality of fearing that the world would not be chaotic was really not advisable.  "This is the purpose of adding a question mark after the title of the previous chapter"

"Colston!" The tall and thin man in the corridor hurriedly walked forward, "Sorry, let me borrow it." He squeezed past Feng Bujue and Henderson and walked into the bedroom.  He said to the old man, "Colston, are you crazy? Put the gun down quickly. What if you hurt someone?"

"Yes If I commit a crime in front of so many people, how can I survive Chapter 33" Feng Bujue complained in his heart.

"Huh" Colston put the gun on the small table beside the chair, took a deep breath, then looked up at his two sons and said.  "You two go out first."

Dennis and Jack looked at each other, full of anger, but neither of them said anything more and just followed their father's order and exited the room.

"Powell, please stay, I have something to say to you." Colston said to the tall and thin man. It seemed that he was the "Dr. Powell" mentioned by Odetta earlier.

After the two sons left the room, Colston motioned to Powell to close the door.

The atmosphere in the corridor was a little awkward. It was obvious that everyone had their own assumptions about what Dennis and Colston had said before. Therefore, everyone's eyes were telling a special emotion.

"My dear, are you okay?" Carol came up and held her husband's hand with concern.

"Don't worry, dear" Dennis was very good at hiding his true emotions. After walking out of the room, his expression returned to his usual state, "Father is just angry because of some trivial things. You know, in the past few years,  His temper is getting more and more irritable, I think it may be related to his illness."

?"Ha! That's true." Jack sneered and turned to leave.

"Is this how you talk to your brother?" Dennis shouted.

"You should be lucky, I don't have a gun like that." Jack spoke very frivolously. Maybe he didn't feel it himself, but the implication of this joke was very dangerous.  In Feng Bujue's view, if Dennis was killed soon, this line would basically constitute a key suspect flag.

After Jack finished speaking, he headed towards the stairs, probably going back to pick up the luggage he left behind.  Dennis snorted coldly and didn't call him again.

As an outsider, Feng Bujue naturally found it inconvenient to interrupt. He just observed everyone's reactions calmly Butler Henderson, gardener Barton, maid Oliver, Mrs. Carol, and Mrs. Odetta.  In Brother Jue's opinion, all of them hide some ulterior secrets.

"Okay, let's all disperse. There's nothing to see. It's okay." Dennis loudly asked everyone to leave. As he spoke, he realized that Feng Bujue was also present, so he stepped forward and said, "Oh, Mr. Feng, I'm so sorry.  , to make you laugh. Thatmy father was a soldier, and that gun is a souvenir from the war"

Feng Bujue was not interested in this perfunctory explanation. He directly replied in a very open-minded tone: "Oh, it's okay. I'm used to seeing this kind of scene. I'm also a detective after all."

These words seemed to freeze the air.  The movements of those who were leaving were obviously stagnant. Even Jack, who had already walked far away, turned back and glanced at Feng Bujue.

The expressions on the faces of Dennis and his wife also changed slightly. Although Feng Bujue had already mentioned this when they were chatting in the car, Dennis and Carol didn't take it seriously at all at that time.  A car accident survivor with a slight concussion who can't even tell his birthday or the era he lived in. He can say that he is an astronaut. Who would believe it

However, at this moment, Feng Bujue had tidied up and changed into a clean outfit.  Looking from top to bottom, this person's eyes are clear, his body is in good condition, his speech and behavior are clear, and his words are measured.  It seems he might actually be a detective.  (To be continued)
