Note: The part framed in [] in this chapter is Detective Scofield¡¯s inner complaints.

    ¡¡¡¡

Within a few minutes, there was another knock on the door, and it was Dumpdy's voice outside the door, "Sir, Master Colston is here."

    "Please come in," Schofield responded.

The door opened, and Odetta appeared at the door holding Master Colston.

After the two entered the house, Colston sat down unceremoniously. This was his home after all, and Feng Bujue and the police were already taking the spotlight.

"Sorry, we want to talk to Mr. Lovecraft alone." Feng Bujue said to the hostess, "Can you please go out first?"

"This" Odetta looked at Colston with questioning eyes, and the latter nodded to her.

Odetta hesitated for a moment, then walked out the door. Before going out, she seemed to remember something and turned around and said: "Uh gentlemen, police officers, Butler Henderson has woken up, and the doctor said he is fine.  It¡¯s getting late now, and if possible, I¡¯d like to tell Oliver to prepare dinner.¡±

"I have no problem with it," Schofield said.

Feng Bujue looked at Colston. The master seemed to have no objection, so he replied: "Then I'll trouble you, madam."

After Odetta left, the door was closed again by Dumpty, leaving three people in the house.

Scofield was still sitting in his original position, but Feng Bujue began to pace slowly around Master Colston.

"I'm sorry that I have to bother you again and again at this time." Feng Bujue said.

¡°Hmm¡the opening remarks are exactly the same as before.  ¡¿

"It doesn't matter, you have responsibilities too." Colston replied in a neither humble nor overbearing tone.

¡¾Heyit's so strange that the answers are the same, only the tone is different, and the content is the same!  But the next sentence should be different, because Colston has already sat down, so Mr. Feng cannot say "Please sit down" again.  ¡¿

"I'll get straight to the point." Feng Bujue continued, "The murderer is someone in this villa, right among us."

¡¾Hello¡ª¡ª!  After skipping that sentence, he used the exact same line again!  ¡¿

Colston¡¯s expression was calm.  He just replied calmly: "Who do you suspect?"

"I did think of some hypotheses." Feng Bujue looked very embarrassed and said, "But before I am completely sure, I want to hear your opinion first."

¡¾I know this script by heart!  I can ask according to this routine!  ¡¿

Colston raised his head, met Feng Bujue¡¯s gaze, and said coldly: ¡°Do you want me to accuse a member of my family?¡±

"They are not all family members," Feng Bujue said. "Henderson, Oliver, Barton, and Powell, none of them have the surname Lovecraft."

"To me, they are family," Colston replied. "I don't want to believe that any of them are murderers."

¡¾Ohthis old man is quite humane.  ¡¿

"You really can't think of anyone who has the motive to kill Dennis?" Feng Bujue asked.

    "Yes," Colston replied, "that's you."

¡¾He turned out to be a guest.  ¡¿

"Me?" Feng Bujue said, "Oh? Haha" He sneered, looking like he was in need of a beating, "What's your basis?"

"There is no special basis." Colston replied, "It's just that you have an unknown origin. I heard from Carol that you suddenly appeared on the mountain road to stop the car. This is very suspicious, isn't it?  ? Maybe you are just a fake detective. In fact, you are a killer or something. After killing my son, you used your identity as a detective as a cover to point the finger at other people. This can just remove the suspicion. "

While the other party was talking, Feng Bujue slowly walked to the desk, picked up the pamphlet on the desk and read it silently.  Until Colston finished speaking, Brother Jue had no response.  Just continue to turn the page with your back to the other person.

¡°Are you listening?¡± Colston asked again after nearly ten seconds of silence.

"Huh? What? Have you finished speaking?" Feng Bujue turned around and opened his eyes wide.  A mean look on his face.

¡¾Heyyou obviously heard it, are you pretending not to listen on purposeumbut this should also be a way to anger the other party.  ¡¿

"Sorry, I started to ignore it when you said 'no special basis'." Feng Bujue answered. He said, "With this sentence at the bottom, the content behind it is basically nonsense."

"Humph young man." Colston sneered, "If you want to anger me, isn't it too ridiculous to use the childish trick of 'pretending to ignore'?"

"After some reasoning, I still feel unhappy because there is no audience" Feng Bujue responded with a similar sneer, "It seems that I overestimated you before"

¡¾Just curse!  And the export is dirty!  Five minutes ago, I said a lot of things coolly, and finally, who was it that emphasized to me that I should "not lose my grace"?  ¡¿

"Let me tell you what the real reasoning is!" Feng Bujue looked at Colston with a sharp look in his eyes and said, "I swear in the name of grandpa! All the mysteries have been solved!"

[I said I feel like some strange lines have been mixed in By the way, who is your grandfather Also you have already ruled out Colston as a suspect on the grounds of "inconvenient legs and feet", right?  The next step is undoubtedly to make some casual remarks to slander him Doesn't it matter if your grandpa doesn't keep it safe for the evening?  ¡¿

¡°What exactly do you want to say?¡± Colston asked, glaring at Feng Bujue.

"You are the murderer!" Feng Bujue pointed at Colston and said in an imposing manner.

"Are you crazy? Do you know what you are talking about?" Colston was not a womanizer like Carol. He was very calm and turned to look at Schofield next to him, "Detective, this  Are people really detectives? What is the attitude of your police?"

Feng Bujue didn't care what he said, he still went his own way: "I have solved the mystery of the secret room When the door was locked, the murderer used a weapon such as a steel wire to kill Dennis, and then jumped out of the window.  Then he used the murder weapon to lock the window from outside the house." He raised the pamphlet in his hand, "You told Officer Mark that one hour before the incident, Dr. Powell took your blood pressure, and you continued to  Stay alone in your room to rest. In other words, you have enough time to sneak to the guest room on the first floor, kill someone, leave the house, discard the murder weapon, and then return to your room."

After hearing this, Colston thought for a few seconds, "Is this your reasoning?" He snorted coldly and stamped the floor with his crutches, "Then please tell me a person who has difficulty walking without crutches.  , how to kill someone with a steel wire? How to climb out of the window?" (To be continued)
