Previous page        Return to Catalog        Next page

This volume is adapted from the film "Telephone" directed by Hitchcock and the short story "The Detective and the Cat" written by Three Days and Two Sleeps (that's me).

If there are any similaritieswell, I guess you won't be able to see any similarities even if I don't tell you.

    ¡¡¡¡

"Hehehehe welcome to the horror paradise"

This was originally an opening sentence that players were all too familiar with, but at this moment, Feng Bujue felt strongly uneasy after hearing this sentence.

Because the speaker's voice and tone, as well as the signature "hehehe" weird smile, all declare that the script in front of him is a devil's trap

¡¾Loading completed, you are currently in single-player survival mode (nightmare).  ¡¿

¡¾This mode provides an introduction to the script, and there is a chance of side/hidden tasks and a special world view appearing.  ¡¿

¡¾Scenario clearance reward: When settling the reward, you can get double the basic experience bonus for clearance.  ¡¿

¡¾The script introduction will be played soon, and the game will start immediately after the playback is completed.  ¡¿

The opening g started immediately. The first thing that caught Brother Jue's eyes was the blue sky and white clouds. Then, he saw a cruise ship.

¡¾You are a famous detective with an eccentric personality.  ¡¿

"Hey, hey this word sounds a bit familiar." Brother Jue, who had already vaguely noticed something unusual, pulled out a similar line from the memory attic the moment he heard the narration, "Could the next sentence be 'In  October¡¯s one¡¯¡¡±

¡¾One afternoon in October, you decide to go out for a long trip.  ¡¿

As a result, the narrator said the second sentence before he finished his inner complaints.

"You really haven't even changed the words" Feng Bujue immediately said again, "But looking at the picture, the third sentence should have changed"

He was right in his guess. After all, this was at sea, and what happened next would not turn into a plot of "a detective driving a rented cheap car broke down in the wilderness."

¡¾You came to a small town by the sea and wandered aimlessly.  ¡¿

"That night, in a bar in town, you struck up a conversation with a gentleman who loved to smoke a pipe, and they quickly became friends.  ¡¿

¡¾Those who take things easy usually have good luck. That gentleman happens to be a captain. His "Bulldog" is staying in the port and will set off early tomorrow morning.  ¡¿

¡¾The captain invites you to board the ship and promises to take you to his destination, a small island not far from the coast of Wales, for free.  ¡¿

¡¾The captain will also arrange food and lodging for you during the period. Although the conditions are only a little better than those of the sailors, you still have a separate room.  ¡¿

¡¾In the end, at your insistence, the captain charged you a nominal fee and drank a toast with you happily.  ¡¿

¡¾The next day, your island trip begins.  ¡¿

The narration ends here, and the G screen instantly switches to a dock scene.

The next second, Feng Bujue gained the ability to move.

He looked left and right and found that he was not far from the dock; behind him was the "Bulldog" cruise ship, and in front of him was a large billboard with a very exaggerated  The font reads "Welcome to Kochikoti (ih) Island", and below the large characters, there are also small characters "Here is the best tuna in Western Europe".

After confirming the location, he began to look for hints about "time".

Judging from the buildings and public facilities on the island, as well as the costumes of passers-by and the electronic products they hold, it is obvious that the era of this script is in the 21st century, but it is not easy to determine the specific era. After all, this is a "  "Island Town", it is not surprising that the overall living standard is ten or eight years behind that of first-tier metropolitan areas.

[Important reminder: Any items brought in from outside the script cannot be used in this script; the luggage column has been locked; the skill column has been locked; before leaving the script, your clothing will be temporarily changed to the style of the plot character, and your physical fitness will also be changed.  Corrected to real life levels.  ¡¿

Just when Brother Jue was making a preliminary observation of the environment, another familiar reminder sounded in his ears.

Almost at the same time as the system voice sounded, Feng Bujue lowered his head to see that his clothes had turned into a set of very ordinary casual clothes, the kind of clothes that he would not feel out of place in the real world.

He immediately touched his pocket and found a mobile phone, a charger that matched the mobile phone, a wallet, and a passport.

Brother Jue first picked up the phone and found that it was a popular smartphone in the 1910s. Although he didn¡¯t know the password, he?Successfully unlocked the screen with my own fingerprint.

It took him more than a minute to confirm that there was only one piece of useful information in the phone, that is, the owner's username was "engbujue". In other respects, the phone was the same as when it first appeared.

Then, Brother Jue looked through his wallet again, which contained several US dollars and pounds in various denominations. If calculated according to the exchange rate in the 1910s, their total value was approximately equal to two thousand yuan.  Apart from cash, the only things left in the wallet were two credit cards, and there were no other messy cards at all.

As for the passport the system has blurred it, and the words on it are all indistinguishable in Feng Bujue's eyes, like a beaten horse. Even using the data perspective, he can't see clearly.  Therefore, he knew nothing about the nationality, age, passport validity and other information of his character.

Overall, the things he had on him were pitiful, and their combined value did not have much intelligence value.

Of course, Brother Jue doesn't mind this, because at this time he already basically knows the urinary nature of this script.

"If nothing else happensthe main mission of this book should be" Just as Feng was muttering to himself unconsciously.

The system voice suddenly sounded as if to answer his words: [The main mission has been triggered]

Brother Jue heard the sound, opened the game menu, and looked at the taskbar.

¡¾Complete the script in thirty-three chapters.  ] This line of text, and a sub-task [Check into the Alfred Hotel] below it, appeared in Brother Jue's sight.

"Alas" Feng Bujue sighed after reading those two lines, then looked up at the sky and said, "What is supposed to come will come after all"
