Strolling slowly along the bustling streets of Los Angeles, Edward put his hands in his windbreaker and quietly watched the crowds of people surging with a peaceful smile on his lips. As night approached, the crowds looked like they were in a hurry.

When he arrived in Los Angeles on a transport plane, his mission was still to use a few general phrases to suppress the spread of the virus. He did not say anything specific. He could only wander around the streets aimlessly for three hours.

Finding a seat next to the flower bed, Edward quietly sat down, picked up the hamburger he had just bought and ate it in small bites. Looking at the people walking in front of him, he suddenly felt that the few months he had lived on the battlefield seemed like a dream.  .

"Uncle, why don't you go home?"

A young and innocent voice sounded in Edward's ears. He turned his head slightly, and a touch of golden color entered his eyes, only to find that it was a child about three years old, biting his fingers and talking to him, looking very confused.

"Uncle's home is far away." With a smile on his lips, Edward looked at this cute child. He left his seat and squatted down, looking straight into the child's eyes. He tilted his head and made a weird clown expression: "Young man  Young man, why don¡¯t you go home?¡±

"Little Bunt's home is very, very close!" Seeing his amused expression, the child laughed out loud, but he still put down the fingers in his mouth and showed Edward with his little fingers still stained with saliva: "That's where I am.  s home!"

Edward looked over and saw the familiar door. He couldn't help but be slightly startled. He turned to look at little Bunt, patted his golden head and asked, "Poor little guy, is Violet your home?"

"That's right, but little Bunt is not pitiful!" Little Bunt wiped the saliva on his hands on his clothes, pouted his mouth and looked dissatisfied: "Violet's mother is very good and treats little Bunt  Te is very good, so little Bunt is not pitiful!¡±

"Oh, of course, little Bunt is certainly not pitiful." Edward was stunned for a moment. Looking at little Bunt's solemn look, he couldn't help but smile. He took out the untouched French fries behind him and dipped them in ketchup.  Handed him one: "As an apology, I'll treat you to French fries."

"Thank you uncle, mother told little Bunt not to eat food from strangers!"

Little Bonte shook his head vigorously, but on his serious face, his two pairs of spiritual eyes kept scanning the fragrant French fries. He swallowed slightly, raised his mouth and shook his head vigorously: "  Little Bunt doesn¡¯t want to eat!¡±

"It's okay, this is what uncle gave you to eat." Edward smiled, but with a slight bitterness. According to memory, he should have allocated an additional three thousand US dollars in nutritional subsidies to the Violet Orphanage every month.

He pushed all the fries into Little Bunt¡¯s arms, letting him hold them in his two little hands, and looked at him with a smile: ¡°Can you take uncle to meet the people inside?¡±

He touched little Bont¡¯s head. His silky hair was like chocolate. He glanced sideways and coldly in the direction of the Violet Orphanage and snorted. His two hundred thousand dollars a year was not used for greed.

"Okay, mom will definitely be very happy!"

Little Bont looked down at the fries in his arms. The aroma made his little nose twitch slightly. He swallowed involuntarily and nodded fiercely, with a smile on his face: "Uncle must be a good man. He can  Help mom**!¡±

Edward reached out and held little Bunt in his arms, and walked straight towards the violet door.  The Violet Orphanage is very warmly built, not only the finely constructed buildings, but also the large number of flowers, plants and trees, all of which are beautiful but harmless little plants.

Edward was holding little Bunt as he walked on the main road. There were clumps of soft turf on both sides. Many children, led by several young girls, were playing happily with each other. Childish laughter spread throughout the entire road.  side.

    "Look, mom is there!"

Little Bunter immediately raised his little hand eating French fries, wiped the ketchup on his face, and happily pointed his little finger at a slender figure not far away. Edward frowned slightly, and there were three people in black suits.  Standing.

"Mom! Mom!" Little Bunt shouted happily before he got close. He grabbed a French fries with his whole little hand and waved it like a prince's knight's sword: "Little Bunt, there are French fries here! Here!  You eat! Here you go!¡±

Hearing little Bont's shouts of joy, the slender figure turned slightly, frowning slightly and immediately relaxed when she saw little Bont. Just when she was about to speak, she saw Edward's familiar face, although it was the same as before.  There was a slight difference, but how could she forget it?

"Edward" The moment she saw Edward, she took a few steps forward as if she didn't believe him, and tears immediately flowed from her big eyes.?, choked and looked at the figure getting closer and closer: "Am I seeing an hallucination?"

    "Sumari"

Taking a deep breath, Edward showed a smile on his face, walked over quickly with little Bont in his arms, stretched out a hand to the woman's face, and gently but domineeringly wiped away the tears on her cheeks.  : "That's right, I'm back."

"Ms. Sumary, I hope you can think about it." Behind him, the three men in black suits came over. They looked at Edward with horror in their eyes. They just said a few words and were about to leave quickly, but a burly figure  But it blocked their way forward.

"What happened?" A low voice came from Edward's mouth. He looked at the three people in front of him, smiled slightly, looked at Su Mary who was still crying, turned his head and said slowly: "I really want to know, three gentlemen.  .¡±

"These are three bad guys. Every time they come, my mother will cry for a long time. Little Bunt has seen them many times!"

Little Bunt in his arms looked at these three nervous men, and immediately waved his chips and shouted loudly, with a wrinkled face and a hateful expression: "It's them, they are very bad!"

"My Sumary, what's going on?" Edward put little Bont in Sumary's arms, glanced at the three men in black, and there was no smile on his face. He snorted softly: "Especially  How could my violet become like this!"

"Sorry sir, we have other things to do."

The expressions of the three men suddenly changed slightly. They looked at each other and tried to bypass Edward's figure. They had no good idea in their hearts, and now they just wanted to leave here quickly.

"You should know me." Edward looked at the three people walking around him, smiled coldly, and said seriously: "You thought I was dead or missing? That's why I came here to cause trouble?"

Edward glanced at Su Mary, who was holding little Bunt in tears, and couldn't help but feel a burst of anger in his heart. He stepped forward and grabbed someone's back shoulder, with a domineering tone: "My Edward's name, it seems that has been  Did you forget it on purpose?!"

    "Edward, let them go."

Sumary was still crying and looked at Edward dreamingly. She didn't expect that a person who should have died would appear in front of him again. Now she just kept praising God in her heart. She gently  He said: "After you come back, everything will be fine."

"Sumari, you are still so kind." Looking at the three men with fear on their faces, Edward smiled disdainfully, stretched out his hand that tightly grasped the shoulder, and directly shouted: "Go away, don't  Let me see you!"

The three men almost didn't even look behind them, and immediately walked outside quickly without saying much, because they were already extremely frightened in their hearts, and the reputation that Edward had left before even resurfaced in their hearts, and  getting bigger.

"What's going on? Sumary, I remember I gave that guy $300,000 this year."

Edward looked at Sumary crying and couldn't help but glance at the main building inside the orphanage. He took a few breaths and looked around. Although the child was still smiling happily, the nursing staff who were supposed to be there were missing.  The slightest one!

¡°That guy has changed since you were declared missing, and he just took all the money and left a month ago.¡±

Sumary choked up as she spoke. She glanced at Edward, bit her lip, and showed a heartfelt smile: "But thank God for his mercy, you finally came back, otherwise I would have sold part of the land to support the orphans.  normal operation of the hospital.¡±

"That guy." Of course Edward knew what kind of person that guy was, but for the sake of Sumary's brother, he never had an attack. But now that guy has gone so far that he even robbed hundreds of orphans of their food money!

Looking at Edward's depressed expression, Su Mary lowered her head and cried again: "It's all because I doted on him too muchotherwise how could this happen"

"It doesn't matter, it's just a few hundred thousand." Edward smiled and looked at the beautiful orphanage around him. This was once his hard work and his spiritual sustenance. He hugged Su Mary gently and took out a piece of paper to put in.  In her hands: "Actually, I'm not short of money."

"Thisthis is" Su Mary looked at the series of zeros in surprise. This is the mission fund given to Edward by SHIELD. It can also be considered as a reward for him. It is several million dollars. It can be said that in Su Mary's eyes, it is very big.  A number.

"I am now in a government department, does the CIA know?" Edward looked at Sumary's pitiful appearance and held her tightly in his arms, feeling this wonderful body: "Su Marie, IHe is no longer a disgusting gang member.  "

He was not overly defensive about Sumary, but a proper lie could allow her to continue to live a stable life. Although she was like a caged bird, she did not have to experience the real world where crisis and fear coexisted.  (To be continued.
