    "Crack."

The entire portal slowly fell downwards, and with the fresh air and dazzling sunshine, it suddenly fell to the ground. However, the silver token did not fall with this force, but was suspended in mid-air.

The faint red and blue colors reappeared on the silver token, and some mysterious feeling suddenly vibrated. The silver token floated gently, flying towards Edward's right hand that was still stretched forward.

The door slammed heavily on the ground, and instantly countless red and blue lights turned into countless light spots. The whole thing collapsed and slowly floated and gradually dissipated, just like tiny fireflies gradually reducing their brightness.

    "Where is this place?"

Edward held it gently, and the silver token reappeared in his hand, without the abnormality that appeared before. Just like before, the silver metal had mysterious patterns on it, with faint red and blue colors shining in it.  .

Turning their heads slightly, Decker and the others were walking out of the alleyway. They all looked around carefully with weapons in hand, but they did not look at the surrounding environment. Instead, they quickly scanned for any enemies that might appear.

"No enemies found, allowed to appear!"

The soldiers squatted on the ground, holding their weapons towards the surroundings. They were guarding outside the alleyway, with the black muzzles of their guns pointed outside. Their expressions were indifferent, and their eyes flashed with extreme calmness. They were not at all disturbed by the shocking environment.  Not the slightest fluctuation.

Soldiers were still walking out of the alleyway quickly. It would take more than ten seconds for more than 40 soldiers to walk out. However, after any of them walked out, they quickly scattered around and raised their rifles in warning.

"No enemies have been found yet, so we are on alert!"

Decker glanced around with a cold face, aiming the G3-A4 assault rifle in his hand through the red dot sight. After a while, he slightly put down the weapon in his hand, nodded and said: "Safe!"

Slowly turning his head to look around, Decker then opened his eyes wide and looked at the outside world, gritted his teeth and couldn't help but exclaimed. This was almost a miracle, and it almost subverted his impression.

"This is a city? How can there be such a large forest?"

After taking a few breaths, Decker looked at Edward and couldn't help but reveal a wry smile. Facing such a large-scale environment, even he felt a little frightened: "God guarantees, this is really shocking."

The city in front of you seems to have been abandoned for a long time. A large number of skyscrapers several hundred meters high have collapsed. Some giant trees and vines have grown in it. The lush ones are like forests, just like green paint deliberately splashed on.

??Looking carefully, the prototypes of countless streets seem to be looming among them. The sun shines down from the sky, the light shades of the trees sway slowly, and the breath of a certain forest slowly floats.

There was a certain pleasant smell in it. Edward couldn't help but take a deep breath. His mouth and nose were filled with a certain kind of fragrance. He couldn't help but shrugged and said with a smile: "If I get old, I will definitely like it here."

Some kind of destruction and ruin, some kind of vibrant prosperity, are intertwined with each other to form some amazing environment. People who have never been here can never imagine what kind of changes can form this kind of environment.

"Is this the work of God?"

The last soldier quickly walked out of the alleyway behind him. The M16-A2 assault rifle in his hand was slightly lowered. He turned to look at the scene outside and couldn't help but exclaimed: "This is so beautiful."

Since no enemies were found, they turned to the alert state and were in the mood to see these scenery. After all, normal human beings would face such an environment and express a sincere wonder.

"It's better to observe whether there are any enemies."

Decker curled his lips slightly, looked at the countless shrubs and woods on the hill in front of him, and couldn't help but take a deep breath: "Our combat environment seems to have entered some kind of strange environment!"

The combat environment in front of us includes rolling hills, dense woods, and layer upon layer of buildings. It is simply a disgusting collection of battlefields.

If armored warfare on the plains is the fastest, most intense, and most helpless combat environment, then the rolling hills, dense woods, and stacked buildings are simply a combat environment that makes people completely collapse.

Combining the three disgusting combat terrains of mountain warfare, jungle warfare, and urban warfare, the combat environment in front of them really made Decker and the others feel a little nervous.

"Let's go, now that we're here, there's no reason to back down."

Edward smiled, closed his eyes slightly and felt for a while, turned to look behind him, shrugged and said: "Besides, our way back is already"??disappeared.  "

Just when they turned their heads and looked behind them, they found that the original passage had long since disappeared. But what surprised them even more was that the environment outside turned out to be the streets of Los Angeles where they were staying outside the protective shield!

    "what is going on?"

Decker immediately walked over and stretched out his hand, only to find that the feeling of the protective shield was still on his hand. A certain hard touch was exactly the same as touching it outside, and on the street outside, he could even see people on the street.  The car is parked.

It is simply extremely weird. If you look carefully, you can even see the traces they left on the side of the street when they came, which are still clearly visible.

Decker looked at his feet and even found that the difference between the two terrains was less than one millimeter. However, this millimeter was simply the biggest sense of dissonance, and they were divided into two different environments.

"We seemed to have walked in that alley for ten minutes!"

A soldier touched the protective shield and couldn't help but mutter to himself. Especially when he looked at the distance below, he couldn't help but be a little disbelieving: "God, what on earth is going on?"

They are the soldiers that Edward later recruited. The soldiers in Virus Town have already stayed outside the suburbs, but the current soldiers are all newly recruited and do not fully understand this situation.

¡°We came to a special space, well, it¡¯s also Los Angeles.¡±

Edward exhaled slowly. Just now, the game system had given him a hint, and the alleyway they passed through before was more like some kind of mysterious space transfer than an alleyway.

Looking at the woods in front of him, Edward took a deep breath, looked up at the highest point of the ruined woods, where there was a collapsed skyscraper, and raised his eyebrows and said, "It seems that it should be there."

The three skyscrapers collapsed crookedly, but fell towards the center. They formed a triangular support, supporting each other's top parts, and there seemed to be a building at the top.

The surrounding buildings have either collapsed or completely disappeared. Only the three buildings that collapsed but supported each other are still standing. That is the highest point, and people can't help but look directly at it.

    "Telescope."

Edward took the high-power military telescope, put it in front of his eyes and looked at it slowly, staring at the tops of the three skyscrapers, frowning slightly, but found that the space in that area suddenly wrinkled, and he could not see clearly.

Shaking his head, Edward continued to look over, only to find that he could see everything clearly, except for the tops of the three buildings, which were completely blurry.

    "what is that?"

Decker also frowned slightly, and looked at that place with the telescope in his hand, but that area seemed to be blocked, the entire space was blurry, and it was so hazy that it was not clear at all.

"Let's go over and have a look."

Without any hesitation, Edward pointed at the area and waved, put down the telescope in his hand, raised his M4-A1 assault weapon and spoke slowly, loudly: "Let's go!"

Now that he has come to this space, he has no reason to shrink back, and the feeling this space gives him is not strange, but a kind of gentle gentleness, as if it has its own life, expressing some kind of goodwill to Edward.

    "This is a crazy decision."

Decker shrugged and looked at the complex terrain around him. He couldn't help but sigh. He picked up the G3-A4 assault rifle in his hand and quickly followed. Although he said what he said, he didn't hesitate in his actions.

They are the most loyal soldiers to Edward. Even if they are facing a dragon's pond and a tiger's den, to be honest, it is just a simple environment for them.

Walking forward slowly, Edward first entered the forest. The gentle feeling became more and more obvious. The waist-deep shrubs and countless vines and trees not only did not form a barrier in the jungle, but made him move faster and faster.  stand up.

Even Edward had the illusion that the flowers and trees were deliberately leaving a path for him!

"Is this a jungle march? Or is this a pleasant outing?"

Behind him, Decker was slightly dazed. He looked at the flowers, plants and trees around him and swallowed in disbelief. In his mind, he had never heard of such a relaxed jungle march, not to mention having seen it before.

Their marching speed was exactly the same as walking on the road, and they deliberately slowed down because of their vigilance. The entire army carefully pointed their guns around and did not move at full speed at all.

After all, they are strangersIn the forest, even if there was some kind of signal of goodwill, Edward would not be able to relax his vigilance, because he was not representing himself alone. There were more than forty soldiers behind him, waiting for his orders.

    "Wait, everyone get down!"

Edward, who was walking in front, suddenly changed his expression. He raised his hands and made fists. The soldiers behind him immediately picked up their weapons, bent down and pressed their shoulders, aiming their guns at the surroundings.

Edward narrowed his eyes slightly forward, and slowly extended his fisted hand. Instead of indicating safety, he stretched out his palm and waved it to the left and right, making a tactical gesture of defensive formation: "There is an enemy!"
