"Boom! Boom! Boom!" After the armored brigade of the Chinese Army's 2nd Army broke through the U.S. Army's territory, it continued to use tank guns to clear out threatening targets.  Machine gun fire points and artillery positions are all within clear range.  The creaking sound of the tracks accompanying the tank's movement is mind-numbing.  The soldiers of the mechanized infantry battalion also got out of the armored vehicles, accompanying the tanks and armored vehicles. On the one hand, they used the tanks and armored vehicles as bunkers, and on the other hand, they were also responsible for clearing out those American infantry who wanted to attack the tanks and armored vehicles.

After a short exploration, the U.S. military has learned that apart from large-caliber heavy artillery, the only thing that can pose a threat to the tanks of the Chinese Army's armored forces is probably a large number of grenades tied into a bundle, specifically used to blow up the tracks of the tanks.  After the armored units of the Chinese Army entered the US military positions, many American soldiers who were not afraid of death rushed towards the Chinese Army tanks holding bundles of grenades.  However, most of these American troops were wiped out by the machine guns on the tanks, and the few that survived were also cleared by the infantry accompanying the tanks.

Under the attack of this tactic, the U.S. military's counterattack was easily crushed. The U.S. military in Guizhou had no choice but to retreat to avoid suffering a more severe blow.  The infantry can escape quickly, but those heavy artillery cannot just walk away.  The primary goal of the Chinese Army's armored forces is to clear out the U.S. heavy artillery and reduce the threat posed by the U.S. artillery to the Chinese defenders in Tepesi.  When the armored units of the Chinese Army entered the US artillery positions, the US artillery was thinking of ways to move their positions.

"Ta-ta-ta!" The sound of machine guns rang out, and many U.S. artillerymen fell into a pool of blood.  More U.S. artillery units fled under the attack of the Chinese Army's armored forces.

The Chinese infantry who followed the tanks quickly used the artillery shells left on the position to blow up all the US heavy artillery.  After doing all this, the armored units of the Chinese Army's 2nd Army retreated calmly.  During this period, the US military was simply unable to stop it.

After the US heavy artillery was destroyed, the attack power was greatly weakened.  Although, other armies of the US military still have a lot of heavy artillery.  But most of those troops have already moved away from Tepesi. It will take more time to regroup.  This greatly reduced the US military's attack.

The U.S. military attacked Tepesi from the north and south, causing the Chinese defenders here to fall into a bitter battle almost from the beginning.  If the armored forces had not taken the initiative to attack several times, the defense line might have been broken through by the US military.  But even so, the Chinese Army's armored forces paid a heavy price, and a large number of tanks and armored vehicles were damaged in the fierce battle.  Except for a few that were destroyed by the US military, most of them had to be abandoned due to malfunctions.  At the same time, in order for the US military to transport the damaged tanks for research, the armored troops blew up all the damaged tanks and armored vehicles when they retreated.  But even so, the US military still transported the wreckage of many tanks and armored vehicles back, hoping to find ways to counter the Chinese Army's armored forces.  Another problem that has emerged is that the tanks and armored vehicles of the Chinese Army's armored forces are still not reliable enough. After fierce battles, many key parts will be damaged. When there are no replacement parts, they can only be discarded.

If the US military wants to be evacuated calmly, it must break through Tepesi, which is defended by the Chinese army.  In order to escape, the US military assembled a huge force and launched a fierce attack on Tepesi.  In addition to the two corps deployed by the US military northwest of Tepe, the US military deployed at least 4 corps southwest of Tepe. This was before the main US military force in Cuernavaca arrived in time.

In order to block the US military's retreat, the Chinese Army's armored forces paid a heavy price.  At the same time, other Chinese troops are also working hard.  General Du Qizheng, commander of the 7th Army, led the main force of the 7th Army and reinforcements of up to 20 infantry divisions and was rushing to Mexico City overnight.  Many soldiers fainted from exhaustion due to the long journey.

Trucks and other equipment damaged during the long march were scattered everywhere.  In this battle, the Chinese army tried its best to eliminate as many American troops as possible.

The fierce fighting continues in the direction of Cuautla.  By the afternoon, all the outer positions of Cuautla had been lost, and hundreds of thousands of American troops were crowded in the city of Cuautla.  After completing the encirclement of Cuautla, the Armored Brigade of the 8th Army left the battle to the infantry behind and launched an attack on Cuernavaca.  It was under this circumstance that the US military ordered the defenders of Cuernavaca to leave two armies to resist the Chinese army, and the other main forces quickly retreated towards Mexico City.  Admiral Pershing knew that if he did not retreat in time, he would probably not be able to escape!

The main force attacking Cuautla has been replaced by Japanese mercenaries and North Korean mercenaries.  The Chinese 8th Army and ten infantry divisions were responsible for besieging Cuautla to avoid a US military breakout.  And attackIn the city of Cuautla, the important task of wiping out all the US troops fell on the Japanese mercenaries and North Korean mercenaries.

According to the orders of Marshal Zhao Bowen, Japanese mercenaries and North Korean mercenaries launched attacks on the U.S. military in Cuautla from the east and west directions.  This might make them compete with each other.  It is precisely because of this that both Japanese mercenaries and North Korean mercenaries are working hard to show more powerful combat effectiveness than the other party.  This makes it even more difficult for the US military to hold its position.  After the outer positions fell in less than two hours and were surrounded at the same time, the morale of the US troops in Cuautla was very low.  Almost all the US military already knew that it was impossible for them to break through from Cuautla.  There were only two choices left for them, either to die in battle or to surrender. There was no third way.

At 7 o'clock in the evening, Marshal Zhao Bowen received a telegram from the front line. This telegram was a battle report that the Chinese Army's armored forces occupied Tepesi and cut off the U.S. military in the middle.  After receiving this battle report, Marshal Zhao Bowen was relieved.  Although many US troops have fled, at least the main force has been left behind.  After destroying all the intercepted U.S. troops, the U.S. troops in Mexico were severely damaged.  China will completely gain the initiative in the Mexican battlefield. The next step is to push the front all the way to northern Mexico and even into the United States!

"Come here, send a telegram to Major General Shi Deyou, commander of the Armored Brigade of the 7th Group Army. Ask them to hold Tepesi until reinforcements arrive and not allow the U.S. military to escape from here. Send a telegram to the commander of the 7th Group Army, General Du Qizheng,  Ask them to rush to Tepesi as quickly as possible to support Major General Shi Deyou and ensure the stability of the encirclement!" Marshal Zhao Bowen ordered.  The results of this battle will largely depend on whether Tepesi can be defended.  However, Marshal Zhao Bowen has confidence in Major General Shi Deyou.  Although the total strength of the troops led by Major General Shi Deyou is only more than 10,000, except for the 231st Regiment, they are all armored troops.  It is not impossible to withstand the US military's attack with the help of Tepesi's narrow terrain.

Blocking the passage for U.S. troops to escape north is only the first step.  Next, all these American troops must be eliminated to achieve the final victory of the battle.  Immediately, Marshal Zhao Bowen ordered all ministries to close the net according to the predetermined plan and eat all the US troops in the encirclement circle one by one!

Cuautla became the main target of attack by the Chinese army. Hundreds of thousands of American troops were surrounded in this small town. Several breakouts failed and instead suffered heavy losses, which further reduced the morale of the besieged American troops.

"Kill all those Americans!" The Japanese mercenaries invested ten divisions at once in the battle to attack Cuautla.  The same goes for North Korean mercenaries.  Under the orders of Marshal Zhao Bowen, General Oshima Yimasa and General Jin Shunhua have already exerted all their strength!

The urban area of ??Cuautla is not large. After the US military regarded it as an important support point for the defense line in central Mexico, it began to strengthen the defenses in the city.  Strong barricades and fixed firepower points were built on every street. There were many machine gun firepower points on the streets on both sides of the street, and many soldiers were hidden in these buildings.  After the enemy invades Cuautla, they will launch a fierce attack on the enemy, making the enemy pay a heavy price under the layers of defenses!

However, no matter how strong the fortification is, it needs people to support it.  After experiencing a disastrous defeat, the American troops defending Cuautla were demoralized, so they could not be expected to rely on these solid fortifications to exert much combat effectiveness.  Especially after three breakouts were organized but were blocked by the Chinese army, many American officers and soldiers became desperate.

There is no airtight wall in the world. The central defense line that the US military has painstakingly built is completely like paper in front of the powerful Chinese army. It broke with just one bucket. The main force of the US military has begun to retreat.  Such news spread among the U.S. troops stationed in Cuautla, which greatly affected the fighting will of U.S. soldiers.  Everyone is thinking about how to escape from this hellish place and how to save their lives, rather than how to defeat the Chinese army.  Perhaps, they no longer have any confidence in this.  Under such circumstances, the defeat of the US military is inevitable!
