At 6 o'clock in the morning on June 26, at the War Department in London, England, the British Home Defense Command, which was in charge of General Hamilton, was already busy!  The telegram from British Army Brigadier Carles in Bristol completely panicked the British Home Defense Command!

"Oh God! How is this possible? Aren't the Chinese in Bournemouth? How could they suddenly go to Bristol?" A British Army major general held the telegram with a look of disbelief on his face.  Now the whole of Britain thought that the Chinese army would land on the southern coast of England. However, the Chinese suddenly appeared in Bristol. This really surprised them!

"General, General Karls requested reinforcements and claimed that a large number of Chinese transport ships were found in Bristol Bay! If we cannot send reinforcements in time, General Karls will not be able to hold on for even half an hour!" A  The staff officer said with some concern!

"Send a telegram to General Karls and ask him to hold on. I'll go see General Hamilton right away!" the major general said quickly.  If the Chinese really deceived the United Kingdom, and the attack in Bournemouth was just a feint, and the main attack direction was indeed Bristol, then the United Kingdom would be in misery.  Now the British Army has deployed most of its troops on the southern coast of England!

General Hamilton was woken up by someone. Last night he attended a welcome dinner specially hosted by the British cabinet for General Bulow, the commander of the German Army's 2nd Army. The banquet lasted until the early morning. Even King George V attended the banquet.  The British simply regarded the Germans as their saviors.  This kind of humility and compromise made General Hamilton very dissatisfied.  So last night he drank to drown his sorrows, so much so that he drank a little too much. He still didn't get up at 6 o'clock in the morning, and he had a severe headache!

"General, something bad has happened. General Carles stationed in Bristol called. The Chinese are launching an attack on Bristol and are about to launch a landing operation there!" The major general officer pushed away the door of Admiral Hamilton's bedroom.  Door, reported loudly!

"What? How could this happen?" General Hamilton sat up from the bed all of a sudden. He couldn't even care about his headache. He grabbed the telegram from the major general's hand and started reading it.  After reading it, his entire face changed drastically!

"Damn Chinamen, they were just feinting at Bournemouth, Bristol is their main direction of attack!" General Hamilton said almost through gritted teeth.  Although his head almost seemed to explode now, he could only hold it in desperately.

"General, what should we do now? General Karls needs reinforcements!" the major general reminded!

"Let the 34th Army and the 38th Army stationed in London rush to Bristol. In addition, let the 27th Army heading to Bournemouth change its goal and go to Bristol for reinforcements!" General Hamilton ordered.  He just hopes now that it's not too late.

"Yes, general!" The major general officer hurriedly went to give the order.  He knew very well that if Bristol really became the main direction of the Chinese attack, Brigadier General Karls's infantry division alone would not be able to withstand the Chinese attack in any case.  It is even too late to send reinforcements to Bristol now. They are just doing their best to obey fate!  The Chinese are so despicable. They launched an attack in Bournemouth with great fanfare, but actually landed in Bristol, fooling the entire British Army!

After General Hamilton issued the order to reinforce Bristol, he immediately got up and rushed to the office of Secretary of War Winston Churchill without even having time to wash up.  Like General Hamilton, Winston Churchill has been staying at the War Office these days.

When General Hamilton met Winston Churchill, Winston Churchill already knew what happened, so his face was a little ugly. After seeing General Hamilton, he directly asked: "General, China  People land at Bristol, do we have the ability to drive them overboard?¡±

General Hamilton shook his head and said with some frustration: "Your Excellency, Bristol is not the focus of our defense. There is only one infantry division there, or a second-line infantry division. It is estimated that the Chinese can easily capture Bristol.  What's even more frightening is that Bristol also has complete port facilities. If the Chinese capture it, they will be able to complete the landing very quickly! With the assault capabilities of the Chinese armored forces, we simply cannot resist their attack.  !¡±

"That means London will be in danger?" Winston Churchill's face changed drastically!  Bristol is only about 180 kilometers away from London. If the Chinese are willing, they may be able to reach London in three days or so.

"Yes, Your Excellency Minister! However, we can form a defense line in west London, equipped with a large number of anti-tank weapons, and we should still be able to block the Chinese attack.Powerful.  In addition, let the Germans deploy some troops to occupy the cities west of London to prevent the Chinese from advancing towards London!  "Admiral Hamilton suggested!

"Well, let's do it!" Winston Churchill said.  Although he very much hoped to drive the Chinese into the sea, he also knew that this was just a delusion.  Therefore, we can only do the next best thing, keep the Chinese out of London and ensure that the capital will not fall!

General Hamilton began to mobilize the British Army. The troops originally deployed on the southern coast of England began to attack London and near Wales, preparing to resist the Chinese attack!  Winston Churchill urgently met with General Bulow, the commander of the German Army's 2nd Army, informed General Bulow of the Chinese landing in Bristol, and made a request to the German side to send troops  Enter west London and Wales to stop the Chinese invasion.

Regarding the British request, General Bulow agreed after consulting the country.  However, the German 2nd Army has less than 100,000 troops landing in the UK at this moment, and all of them have gone to the southern coastal areas of England. If new troops are to be dispatched to Wales, it may take some time.

Bristol, after the Chinese Navy¡¯s six ¡®Hanxin-class¡¯ fast battleships bombarded the coast for half an hour, the artillery fire began to extend into the city.  The soldiers of the 81st Regiment of the Chinese Marine Corps sat in a landing craft and began a landing operation on the coast of Bristol!

The 221st Infantry Division of the British Army guarding Bristol suffered heavy losses under the shelling of the Chinese Navy. Most of the soldiers in this division were newly recruited soldiers, although they were all full of enthusiasm when they joined the army.  But after seeing the cruelty of the battlefield, the blood in my heart suddenly cooled down.  After all, people are afraid when faced with the threat of death.  Especially when you see your comrades around you being torn into pieces by artillery shells, with blood and broken human bodies all over the floor, you can easily break a person's will.  Many recruits collapsed, threw away their weapons and ran away. Even if the military police stopped them, it was of no use!

At 6:35 in the morning, soldiers from the 1st Battalion of the 81st Regiment of the Chinese Marine Corps rushed to the beach. They only encountered sporadic resistance and occupied the beach after suffering very few casualties.  After all the soldiers of the 81st Regiment came ashore, they immediately launched an attack on Bristol.  After that, the following infantry divisions of the 2nd Army also began to land one after another!

"General, the Chinese have occupied the beach. Our troops have been defeated. Many soldiers have fled. Now the Chinese are attacking the port. What should we do?" A lieutenant colonel covered in blood asked.  Brigadier General Karls reported!

"Bastard! Those guys actually escaped. Have they forgotten the pride of the British Empire? When I catch them, I will never let them go!" Brigadier General Kars said through gritted teeth.

"General, there's a call from London. General Hamilton has sent reinforcements, but we have to hold on for at least one day!" the communications officer reported to Brigadier General Karls!

"Shit! Bristol is about to fall, and the 221st Infantry Division has been defeated. What can I do to stop the Chinese?" Brigadier General Karls said angrily!

"Come here, blow up the port and evacuate Bristol!" Brigadier General Karls hesitated for a moment, then ordered.  Now that Bristol is about to fall, there is no point in staying here. It is better to retreat as soon as possible and still preserve our strength!

"General, our ammunition depot was destroyed by the Chinese in the shelling just now. We don't have enough explosives to blow up the port! In addition, the Chinese are attacking the port, and we can't send people to plant explosives!" An officer  replied!

Brigadier General Karls almost lost his breath and fainted. If the port also fell into the hands of the Chinese army, the time for the Chinese army to land would be greatly shortened, and it would be even more difficult for the British Army to stop the Chinese army!

In the end, Brigadier General Carles evacuated Bristol in embarrassment and fled towards London.  The 81st Regiment of the Chinese Marine Corps captured the Bristol port area.  That afternoon, the two infantry divisions and the 2nd Armored Brigade of the 2nd Army had already landed ashore and immediately began to advance towards London.  Along the way, the British Army was simply unstoppable!

On the morning of June 27, the 8th Army of the Chinese Army also successfully landed in Liverpool, echoing the 2nd Army to the south. The two armies were like two iron pliers, ready to cut Britain in half!  (To be continued. Please search Piaotian Literature, the novels will be better and updated faster!)
