About Cultivation: An Introduction to Cultivation in Ancient and Modern Times

Previous page        Return to Catalog        Next page

The name of self-cultivation has existed since ancient times, and it is commonly known as cultivating the Tao.  It includes the entire practice process of moving to transform essence, refining essence to transform Qi, refining Qi to transform into spirit, refining spirit to return to emptiness, returning emptiness to combine with Tao, and attaining the status of true immortal.  What is true?  It is the karma of a real person, and it is a true immortal. It is not a self-proclaimed one, but it is actually a title granted by the upper realm of space.  Real people are the highest realm of Taoist cultivators. Practitioners should have great ambitions, be far-sighted, be diligent throughout their lives, practice hard, and advance their virtues and merits in order to reach the superior realm of real people and real immortals. Therefore, it is called cultivation.

Today¡¯s qigong is only in the primary category of the cultivation process.  The word Qigong was first seen in the chapter "Qigong Explanation" recorded in "Religion Jingming Lu" written by Xu Xun of the Jin Dynasty.  Because of its narrow meaning, it has not been widely adopted.  There is also a chapter called "Qigong Supplement" in "Yuanhe Pian" published in the Qing Dynasty.  In the past one or two hundred years, the word Qigong has been most commonly used in the martial arts community.  After liberation and after the publication of Mr. Liu Guizhen's "Qigong Therapy Practice" in the 1950s, the word Qigong was gradually accepted by people.  However, its concept is still incomplete so far. Although various schools of thought have elaborated on it, they still feel that its meaning is narrow and cannot accommodate the huge system of cultivation.

In the eyes of our ancestors, Qi is a philosophical concept.  Qi is the root of all things in the universe, time and space, and is a basic substance.  "Huangdi Neijing? Su Wen" says: "Qi begins to generate and transform, Qi disperses and becomes tangible, Qi spreads and nurtures, and Qi ends with changes." The transformation, growth, reproduction, and death of all things are all caused by Qi throughout the process.  , Qi is the foundation and foundation of all things.  "The life of a person depends on the accumulation of Qi. When it gathers, it leads to life, and when it disperses, it leads to death." The Qi Transformation Theory in traditional Chinese medicine divides the concept of Qi into more details, such as innate Qi, post-Qi, Ying Qi, and Wei Qi.  Qi, Zong Qi, meridian Qi, viscera Qi, Yuan Qi, Hunyuan Qi, Zhen Qi, etc.  For cultivators, the basic substance used in practice is actually the sublimated substance in the innate world - Yuan Qi.  In order to distinguish the difference between general Qi and Qi in cultivation, the ancients used "Qi" and "Qi" to distinguish them, so as to distinguish the qualitative difference between the two.  True Qi contains both innate Qi and the essence of acquired water, valley, and heaven and earth Qi.  Simply replacing it with Qi is difficult to summarize.

The quality of Qi, a substance, varies greatly at different stages of practice, but it is difficult to observe with the naked eye.  At the level of "qi", its density is low and its quality is not high; at the level of "qi", its density, concentration and quality are greatly improved, showing the properties of light, which can be observed with the naked eye with a little attention.  At a higher level, the nature of its light becomes more obvious, showing five colors; at higher levels, it returns to the eighty-one sun sky, and returns to the three pure and empty natural world.

Human beings and immortals do not develop the Hinayana method, earthly immortals do not develop the Medium multiplication method, and gods do not develop the Mahayana method.  This is the number of three times, which is actually one.  It is not difficult to use the Dharma to seek the Tao, and it is also very easy to seek immortality through the Tao.  If the Dharma is not in line with the Tao, he will dazzle with excessive hearing and strong knowledge. He will develop a small side of the Dharma, and he will not be immune to illness and death.  It is easy to achieve merit by using small methods from side schools, but the common people often teach them to each other, and they will not understand until they die, and then they become customs and corrupt the Dao.  Although people who have faith and perseverance have been practicing for a long time, they finally end up under the spring without seeing the secrets and order of the hall.  Alas!

There is no question about the Tao, and there is no answer to the question. As soon as the true essence is judged, Taiji has dispersed.  "Tao generates one, one generates two, and two generates three." One is the body, the second is the use, and the third is the creation.  The functions of the body are not due to yin and yang, but all creation is due to sexual intercourse.  The top, middle, and bottom are the three talents, and heaven, earth, and man share one common thread.  Tao generates two qi, qi generates three talents, and three talents generates five elements.  The five elements produce all things.  Among all things, the most spiritual and noble one is human beings.  However, human beings should exhaust the principles of all things, exhaust their own nature, exhaust their principles and exhaust their nature, so as to achieve life, whole life, and preservation of life in order to comply with the Tao. They should be solid and solid with heaven and earth, and achieve a long life together.

    1. Cultivation methods

There are those who practice while moving, those who practice quietly, and those who practice both movement and stillness.

Those who practice by moving have two methods:

First, it is based on the exercises and routines created by people, and moves according to the styles.  The ancient Baduanjin is the same as the exercises and routines popularly promoted by various schools today.  Many enthusiasts study ginseng here and there, learning one routine today and doing another exercise tomorrow, showing off that they are knowledgeable, which is ridiculous sincerely.  Routines are like tricks, and they are created by others. If you don't break out, time will be wasted.  This kind of practice is like studying. If you switch from one elementary school to another, if you don't wake up suddenly, it may be difficult to hope for further education.

The second one is those who practice spiritual movement (also called spiritual movement). This method is very quiet and vivid, the consciousness is quiet, the original nature is mobilized, and the body is automatic. Its movements are commanded by the original spirit, and are not driven by subjective will, with various postures and expressions.  Follow nature, it may seem chaotic at first glance, but it is actually orderly.  Its effect is superior to that of deliberate arrangement.  Tao follows nature.  This method is quite in line with the purpose of nature. However, this method should first gather the five elements, harmonize the four images, and reconcile the yin and yang in the body to avoid the excessive yin energy coming out, which can easily be controlled by the devil and lead astray.  If one can truly understand its principles and methods, this is a superior method.  The purpose and effect of those who move to practice cultivation are actually to refine the body and transform it into essence, to turn grain into essence, to cure diseases, to dredge meridians and collaterals, to repair leaks and strengthen the body, which belongs to the starting point of "clearing the earth and leveling the foundation" in the alchemy method.  Dharma.

Those who practice cultivation under the influence of God are "clearing the earth and leveling the foundation""Shortcut method. In life, one is deeply troubled by the seven emotions and six desires, eroded by the eight evil diseases, the internal organs are damaged, and the meridians are blocked. As soon as a man passes the age of sixteen, the state of half yin and half yang is broken.  It is normal to consume one's life, and the soul, vitality, and essence are taken away by all things in the world. However, a cultivator grasps the yin and yang, cultivates both form and spirit, and cultivates both life and life. Modifying the body will increase life span. "There is a magic formula to rejuvenate youth, but to rejuvenate life,  "Only to clear the meridians of the disease." If you complete this step with movement, you will be quick, if you complete this step with stillness, you will be slow.

To remove disease qi and unblock the meridians, it is extremely difficult for Youwei routine exercises to be comprehensive, clear in priority, and orderly. As the saying goes: "Everything with action is false, but without action is true everywhere." Therefore, those who practice dynamic cultivation still rely on spiritual movement.  Excellent choice.  Divine movements comply with the laws of nature. Their principles are profound, their movements are real, their adjustments are accurate, their order is orderly, and their effects are rapid.  Moreover, there is stillness in the movement. The innate soul and the acquired consciousness are practiced in synchronization and coordination. From the beginning, the key to dual cultivation of life and life has been grasped.  Fellow practitioners can realize it on their own. Those who have experienced spontaneous activation will gain something from understanding my teachings. If they can obtain my Eight Meridians Divine Cultivation Golden Pill Secret, they will be able to sail along the current and reach the ladder of understanding the mind and nature as soon as possible.  .

Those who practice quietly should sit quietly at the beginning, calm down and relax, refine themselves, collect medicines and apply them. If they get the true secret, they will have a good chance of success.  But it only takes a long time. Through meditation, it is easy to get the light of nature, but it is difficult to find the fire of life, especially for those who are older and suffer from chronic diseases.

?Cultivation of both movement and stillness, this method is more perfect than the single cultivation method mentioned above, and is more in line with the laws of Tao.  The method of cultivating both movement and stillness masters the general purpose of cultivating both spirit and form, and cultivating both life and life.  From stillness to movement, and then from movement to stillness, you can gain the true interest of repair and cultivation. External movement is inner stillness, inner movement is outer stillness. Movement and stillness are only relative terms. This is the law of nature.  For example, when one enters stillness before spiritual movement, one's body will be quiet but the spirit will move, and then the body will move and the spirit will be still, especially if one knows the spirit but does not guard it.  After finishing the spiritual movement, sit down and think about it, which means you will be quiet on the outside but active on the inside.  Practicing both movement and stillness is better than practicing purely with movement or purely with tranquility. The effect is obvious and the time is shorter.  A wise person should choose the method of practicing both movement and stillness when cultivating the truth.  If a person does not have an acquired strong physique, how can he have innate energy?  Without a Vajra body, how can a baby cultivate to become an immortal?  This principle is easy to understand.

The methods of cultivating the truth include cultivating both life and life, some cultivating only life, and some cultivating only nature. The differences vary according to the number of secrets obtained.  The superior method is the Taoist method of cultivating both nature and life, the middle method is the method of cultivating nature, and the method of cultivating life is the inferior method.

Those who only cultivate life have not obtained the true secrets, do not understand the great way, sit in a dry pot all day long, pretend to cook and practice, do not know whether the water source is clear or turbid, do not know the method of collecting medicine, have been in the air holes for a long time, and will not retreat.  Being wrapped up, a "death pill" was formed.  If you want to cure diseases and prolong life, you can practice it to the point of being a ghost or immortal at most.  Most people among the people who have learned a secret or a method and practiced it belong to this kind of situation.

There are those who specialize in cultivating the nature but not the destiny. Such practitioners will not be able to obtain secrets. Even if they cultivate the nature, they will still be at the shallow level of the nature.  Practitioners sit quietly for a while, study the Tao and preach the scriptures, penetrate the worldly affairs, purify the human heart, see the heavenly mind again, silently realize the Tao mind, and then cultivate the mind and nature.  Their cultivation is only to cultivate their original nature, and they mistakenly believe that the flash of the light of nature means knowing the mind and seeing the nature, but they don't know how to absorb the light and cultivate the spirit, how to temper the spirit, how to use the nature into the life, and how to cultivate both life and life.

The study of self-cultivation is actually a study of both spiritual and physical cultivation.  If you want to pursue the great purpose of cultivation and return to enlightenment, you must take the smooth road of cultivating both life and life.  The two practice methods mentioned above can be said to be half-complete and incomplete methods.

The method of cultivating both life and life is a method of cultivating oneself and not leaking anything.  Specifically speaking, to refine oneself is to understand one¡¯s mind and see one¡¯s nature. What is nature?  God is nature, Qi is life.  The root of the heart is nature, the root of nature is God, and God resides in the heart. In fact, the three are one. Its hexagram image is Li hexagram, its direction belongs to south, its five elements belong to fire, and the true liquid in fire is water.  Cultivation of the mind and nature is the first step in cultivating the truth.  The effort of cultivating one's life is to not miss anything.  There are levels of non-leakage. First, practice the non-leakage of essence, then reach the point where the eyes, ears, nose, tongue and body are all non-leakage, and then reach the state of clearing all leakage.  Ming is the kidney and essence. It refines the form into essence, refines essence into Qi, and supplements the innate Qi in the future. Its hexagram is Kan, its direction is north, its five elements belong to water, and the true essence in water is fire. The elixir material  It all depends on this.

The so-called "no leakage" means to cut off the root of lust. However, cutting off the root of lust does not solve everything. If it does not control the lust of a woman and causes nocturnal emission, it needs to be treated with the law.  In addition, the lustful mind, lustful roots, and lustful body must all be cut off, and they cannot be cultivated to the point where there is no leakage.  Not having sex with your wife only cuts off the body of sexual intercourse, but the lust and roots of lust are still not cut off. Especially the lust for lust is difficult to cut off.

It has always been practiced, and only this color word is difficult to break.  It is said in the Alchemy Sutra that if you cut off the root of adultery, you will be an immortal, and if you do not leak it, you will be an immortal.  The word color is the most difficult to get rid of. The more you reject it, the deeper you will fall into the truth. This thought will not be extinguished as long as you breathe.  The scripture says: "Those who eat color are their nature." If there is no color, the road will be blocked and the people will be sparse, and the race will not be able to reproduce.  Color is a word, since it is good to have it, and it is not good to have it without it. It is difficult to abstain from it if it is present, and it is difficult to cultivate the Tao without it.  The door of my life, the door of my death, life and death, life and death, all end in this door.  Cover is born from color, love is born from love, love is born from lust, and lust is born from coffin. These are all connected.  Children are born from the direct movement of love essence, and they become immortals when they move retrogradely. Ordinary people use their sperm to have intercourse with a woman and give birth to a son. When the essence is exhausted, it returns to the underworld, while those who practice Taoism will become immortals. This essence is cut off, does not have intercourse with the woman, and does not leak out of the Yang Guan. Instead, this essence is exhausted and transformed into Yuan Jing, which goes retrograde and returns to the body. The dragon and tiger merge to form a holy fetus.  Those who are willing to give birth to children will have children and grandchildren born on their behalf after their own death.  Those who retrograde and become immortals do not need others to be born on my behalf, but I am born on my behalf. Their golden bodies are immortal and they coexist with the Great Dao.  This is the meaning of Zhuangzi's "Those who give birth to life will not live, and those who kill living things will not die."

The Southern School of Cultivation advocates first fulfilling the human way and then the immortal way. It is not difficult to enter the Tao in middle age, with a calm nature and a calm desire, and to turn human feelings into Tao feelings. After receiving the order of life, fixing the loopholes and cultivating the Yao, it is not difficult.  When you enter Taoism in your later years, your vitality will decline. In the old society, in order to seek quick results, most people would use the grafting method. It is difficult for people today to have this condition, so it is still better to use the grafting method to repair. Although it is a little more time-consuming, it is still safe.  It is better to ask for others than to ask for yourself, so as to avoid criticism, and the secret of dual cultivation is very simple and not complicated, but it is difficult to put it on paper.

When young people enter Taoism, it is better to cultivate their nature as well as their life.  Young people have little experience in worldly affairs. Most of the time, cultivation is caused by temporary temperament, or occasionally due to frustration and ambition. It has not overcome the worldly affairs. If you cultivate your life and cut off your essence, you may suffer the pain of turning back in the future.  If you continue to cultivate without leakage, it will be difficult to cultivate the true marrow path. If the marrow path is not clear, it will be difficult to enter the palace of the Golden Immortal.  Most people today misunderstand Zhou Tiantong by understanding the mind and meridians. This is a big fallacy.  Those who have no ambition to enter the Tao will find it difficult to practice this method. If they do not practice this method, it will also be difficult to enter the optimal state of dual cultivation of life and life. Don't be careful.

??Cultivation of sex will lead to death, and cultivation of life will bring life to life.  The deceased is the death of the ordinary mind and the death of the desire. The death of the mind and the resurrection of the spirit are controlled by the Daoshu.  The living person is the vitality of the essence and vitality. The kidney is strong and does not leak the vitality. There are many medicinal materials for alchemy at home.  The so-called subduing the dragon and subduing the tiger means that the dragon refers to nature, which is consciousness and desire; the tiger refers to life, which refers to kidney water and turbid essence.  The heart is fixed and the dragon returns to the sea, but the love forgets that the tiger hides in the mountain.

To study the theory of Taoist cultivation, in one word, we must grasp the theory of yin and yang.  The theory of yin and yang runs through the theory of Dan Jing. Nothing is yin and yang. There is yang in yin, and yin in yang. Those who use it don't see it, and those who see it don't use it.  Such as dragon, tiger, black rabbit, lead and mercurythe list goes on and on. They are all yin within yang and yang within yin.  Generally speaking, they are the basic substances for cultivating both life and nature.  As long as researchers and practitioners study from a high-level perspective, it will not be difficult to outline the subject.

The key to cultivation goes: "The great road is unconditioned and natural. It will not be perfect without effort. Look for the true seed at the crossroads, and refine your nature in the Bagua furnace. There is no Dharma boat that can cross the sea, and medicine that can be carried with you can prolong your life. Tibetan Germans are unpredictable during punishment.  , Be dedicated to be kind in the face of harm. The four images are harmonious and return to the original face, and the five elements gather in clusters to grow golden lotuses. It is better to increase and decrease. Only when you know the good and the bad can you enter the mystery. Get rid of all the entangled dust and dirt, and fulfill your parents before they were born.  Cultivation of immortals and Buddhahood are all based on this, and the other two are all biased."

The study of Taoist internal skills is closely related to the internal alchemy and elixir technique.  For external use, it mainly uses Yuanshen, and using Zhenqi is a primary-level spell.  Advanced inner strength spells are methods of cultivating the soul and transforming the spirit.  However, the ecstasy must be based on the life base, and the life base is not solid. The yin of the ecstasy must be heavier than the yang, making it unusable.  Therefore, when cultivating magic, you must focus on the method of cultivating both life and life, and focus more on refining your nature.  However, in the method of refining the nature, since the five internal organs are adjusted to respond to the five external elements, the life skill is also included in it.  This is the clear distinction between priorities and tolerance in the authentic exercises.

    2. The Theory of Understanding Mind and Nature

The Chinese written language is rich in connotation, concise and profound.  When studying the Alchemy Classic, we must pay attention to its profound connotation and grasp the yin and yang theory throughout.  Taoism always discusses visible and invisible substances together. When doing research, you must not focus on one and ignore the other. If you only pay attention to visible things, you will lose the advanced, fundamental, and substantial invisible original substances.  If you don't pay attention to mastering the research methods, you will not be able to get the essence of alchemy and magic, and understand the methods. If you don't do this, it will be difficult to enter the door of cultivation.  Yi said: "To exhaust one's rationality and exhaust one's nature is to end one's life."  Cultivation must thoroughly study the principles of life and life. Only by thoroughly understanding the principles of life and life can we understand life.  If the principles of human nature and life are not clear, and you cannot recognize what human nature is, and you want to take your own life, wouldn¡¯t it be a blind practice?  A true cultivator must regard life and death as a major matter, and then understand the origin of life. If a single bit of truth is not thoroughly investigated, then a single bit of life will be unstable.  If you know one point, you will do one point; if you know ten points, you will do ten points.

The ancestors of ancient times were very merciful and merciful. The Alchemy Sutra contains thousands of metaphors, which have been spread throughout the world. They want everyone to become enlightened, and all of them come true.  Among them, the medicine, heat, and rules of action are all available.  It is a pity that later generations of scholars either thought they were smart or were ignorant and stubborn. They did not discern themselves and did not bother to study hard. Once they found something, they would use it to their fullest, blowing nonsense and creating their own theories, which harmed others and misled themselves.  There are also people who say that the grapes are sour when they cannot eat them. They say that others are fake because they have not reached the realm of spiritual cultivation. The ancients are all right and wrong. Otherwise, they will cover you with a big hat of feudal superstition. Look at you.  What can you do to me?  Isn't it sad that all this is happening?

??Looking at today¡¯s famous figures, how many are unreasonable?  The famous Master Zhang Xiangyu was famous for his sexual power in the world. Unfortunately, he had insufficient life skills, no theoretical support, exaggerated mystical realm, and made too much money. He was bound to be punished by God and was short-lived. The craze of qigong has also entered a trough, which is lamentable.  Looking at it from the perspective of a mountain person, among the preachers who are currently out of the mountain and preaching in society, they have exhausted their principles, exhausted their souls, and taken their lives. Those who are strict

?????????????????????????????????????????????????? It is not an exaggeration to say that he has cultivated both his life and his life, and has attained the status of Golden Immortal.  His report is euphemistic and tortuous, with thousands of metaphors to teach the secrets of the mind and nature.  It's a pity that laymen only watch the fun, while experts watch the door. Most people still haven't understood the mystery of its heart-adjusting chapter.  He is actually a genius in the world of cultivation. Because of his dual cultivation of life and life, he became an immortal from the beginning.  Therefore, although there were critics and slanderers, they could not shake it.  Those who are determined to cultivate the truth should realize the importance of cultivating both life and life from the ups and downs of their journey out of the mountains and into society.

?????????????????????????????????????????????:  I advise you not to be satisfied with the acquisition of one method or one skill, and not to just indulge in the skills. Instead, you should have a far-sighted and far-sighted view, be clear about your principles, do your best, and take care of your life. If you grasp the pearl of wisdom, it will not be difficult to enter the door of cultivation.  I hope that more virtuous, ambitious and predestined people will step into the door of cultivation, which is the direct way to clarify the mind and nature.

    ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????: ????????????????????????????? ??

Those who understand the heart understand, know, and grasp the meaning of the heart.  Just as Zhang Boduan, the founder of the Southern Sect, said in "The Qinghua Secret Text: The Heart is the King": "The heart is the home of God. The heart is the wonderful principle that governs all things. Nature depends on it, and life depends on it. If the husband  Scholars of Taoism must first understand this word, and leave the rest to the later chapters, so I will pass it on."  The so-called heart contains two big concepts, and this concept is divided into smaller concepts.  The two big concepts refer to the heart of form and quality and the heart of form and non-matter.

The heart contains the spirit, which refers to the consciousness and the soul.  Consciousness is the acquired thinking, also known as desire, desire, consciousness, subjective consciousness, etc.  Yuan Shen refers to the original appearance acquired innately. Its primary state is called Yuan Xing. Yuan Shen is essentially the aggregate of three advanced substances: Yuan Xing, Yuan Qi, and Yuan Jing.  People who are not cultivators can only call it Yuan Xing. Although cultivators have different levels of skill, their Yuan Jing and Yuan Qi have begun to converge with Yuan Xing. Compared with ordinary people, they have more yang elements in Yuan Xing and can be called Yuan Shen.

The theory of truth cultivation believes that when a person is about to be born, his original nature begins to enter.  Zhengyang Zhenren said: "When a person is born, his parents meet and the two qi are combined. That is, the essence and blood are the fetal cells. After Taichu, they come from Taizhi. Yin and Yang are born, and the qi transforms with the fetus. For three hundred days, the shape is round, and the spirit is  Enter the body and separate from the mother." This aura refers to the original nature.  Yuan Xing contains the information of many ages of itself and is not something that can be seen by the naked eye.

Jue says: "When a mortal is reincarnated, his original nature is located in the square inch, while the consciousness of God is located in the lower heart. The heart of flesh and blood below is as big as a peach, with lungs to cover the wings (soul), and a liver to support it (soul). If one day  If you don¡¯t eat, your heart will feel so uneasy that you will jump when you hear shock, feel depressed when you hear anger, feel sad when you see death, and feel dizzy when you see beauty. The brain is the spiritual organ, and you can¡¯t see the movement of the brain but only hear the movement of the heart. The true meaning of Fang Cun Zhong,  How can it move? When it moves, it is not wonderful, but it is also the most wonderful. It is not wonderful if a person only moves after death. The most wonderful thing is that the light has condensed into the Dharma body, and it gradually becomes spiritual and ready to move." This has not been passed down through the ages.  The secret is also.  During cultivation, when the soul leaves the body and leaves the body, there will inevitably be feelings of heartbeat, palpitations, and depression. Most of the students around Shan Ren have this personal experience. The symptoms shown by young people are more prominent and obvious.  This tactic is not wrong.

The flesh-and-blood heart of the human body is the base for consciousness and belongs to Yin Fire.  Although modern medicine believes that conscious activities occur in the brain, this is a theory of substance after all.  According to reports, a man in Africa had his heart replaced with a heart. Soon after he was discharged from the hospital, he loved to get into trash cans, crawl on his hands on the ground, and eat leftover soup and food.  It completely shows the habits of a pig, and it cannot autonomously and control these behaviors.  The medical community considers this a new research topic.  This example fully illustrates the mystery of the invisible body and the mysteries of Qigong and Chinese medicine theory.

The mind and subjective consciousness are the biggest obstacles to entering the door of cultivation.  The so-called enlightenment of the mind means cultivating a true person to understand this, and to cultivate virtue and accumulate good deeds, cultivate one's temperament, practice self-refinement, purge away the ordinary mind, and regain the true nature of the soul.  The Patriarch's teachings say: "The one who covers the heart is the position of the king. If nothing is present, the reason why it moves is the nature of the soul; if something is present, then the reason why it moves is the nature of desire. There is action.  The mind of daily use; the mind of inaction, the mind of the golden elixir. Taking action returns to inaction, and then returns to the main business with inaction, which is the entrance to the golden elixir. The Husband God has the Yuan Shen and the Desire God.  The Yuan Shen is a bit of spiritual light from innateness. The Desire God is the nature of temperament. The Yuan Shen is the innate nature. When I am about to be born, the Yuan nature begins to enter. My parents nurture my body with affection, so the temperament is  Nature is born with emotion every time it encounters an object. Now it is gradually eradicated, and the master is exhausted, and the original essence is first seen, and then it can be used for things. As long as a scholar can protect the essence, he is beyond the realm of yin and yang, and is not in the three realms. This  Only by seeing one's nature can one see the true face. The key to self-cultivation is to subdue the ordinary mind, recognize the spirit, and subjective consciousness. The outline is to open the eyes, and then use the word "jing" as a stepping stone. If you can be calm, the golden elixir can be achieved." These two points.  It is actually the key to getting started with cultivation.  The reason why Jing, Qi, and Shen can be used by me is because when the mind is extremely quiet, it becomes vivid. When the Yuan Jing moves, the bottom of the sea opens on its own, and the Yuan Jing rises directly into the Qi. If the mind is focused, it will not rise and the iron door will open.  When Yuan Qi moves, its Qi will move between heaven and earth on its own, rising up.If it passes through the heart, it will not go down to the yin, and the longer it lasts, the more sufficient it will be. Just like when the mind is focused, its energy will subside on its own, making it difficult to find.  When the Yuan Shen moves, there is no need to direct it. It rises freely from the Shen Qi point to the heart aperture. The heart palpitates and rushes out of the body. At first, I don't know where it comes out and where it comes in. How can I pay attention to it?

"Every heart is grinding day and night, and there are not many true secrets to be found in silence."  If you can understand the principle of this secret, what will happen to Daluo Jinxian?  "The key to enlightening one's mind is all here. Ordinary people are eager for success and benefit. They seek more skills instead of studying the merits. They waste their time studying Western ginseng. They don't understand the principles of general promotion and eye opening. They study small methods and lose their essence.  , like setting out on a journey at night, rushing westward and bumping into each other, how long will it take for you to find the right path? I have a few words to advise you: "Consult Xuan Wukong, and all dharma will return to its origin."  Keep your mind quiet, the Dharma is within it.  "

What is seeing nature?  The Patriarch said: "Heaven and earth regard human beings like mayflies, and the Great Dao regards heaven and earth as nothing. However, the true nature of the Yuan Shen transcends the Yuan Hui and rises above it. Its energy is lost along with the heaven and earth. However, the Yuan Shen is there, which is Wuji.  Life, birth, and earth are all from this." The so-called nature refers to the true nature, the soul, and the original face.  If you want to see the soul, you must first see the light of nature. This light is the light of true nature and is the basic substance for seeing the true nature of soul.  Yuan Shen is the aggregation of Yuan Jing, Yuan Qi, and Yuan Xing. The light of nature is the sublimation of Jing, Qi, and Shen. Without light, it is difficult to find the true nature of Yuan Shen.

Xingguang can be condensed by methods such as collecting and observing, sending and gathering, and returning to illumination.  The method of observation is to take in the outside and observe what you see.  The insufficient light is sent into Taixu to gather the spiritual energy of the universe.  It is also used to reflect the inner light and condense the five elements, cleanse the soul and refine the soul to cultivate the soul.  Alchemy uses essence water, divine fire, and mind earth as its supreme treasures.  Jingshui refers to the Qi of the innate true one, Shenhuo refers to the light of nature, and Yitu refers to the place in the middle palace, which is the void point behind the navel chakra.  Cultivation uses essence water as the basic substance and foundation, mind earth as the body, and divine fire as the use.  When the light returns to the Dantian Qi points, the five elements gather together. The soul stored in the liver, the spirit stored in the heart, the soul stored in the lungs, the will stored in the kidneys, and the meaning stored in the spleen are all under the unified command of the true light.  , condensed into a group to achieve the effects of soul refining, body control, consciousness breaking, and full mind refining.  Refining all the yin to return to pure qian, eliminating the whole soul, eliminating yin to control the soul, then the soul and yang energy will be sufficient and easy to leave the body.  It is difficult for those with weak light to see the exit of the body, due to the impure quality of the yin. However, those with sufficient light can clearly see the formation, growth, and exit of the body within the body.  It must be noted that the primordial spirit is neither a holy infant nor a golden body, and cannot be confused with each other.

Methods for seeing one¡¯s nature include internal refining methods and talisman methods.  Taoism focuses on internal refining, supplemented by talismans.  When the Yuan Shen first emerges, it is not synchronously coordinated with the Consciousness. It is difficult to control, and there is no need to control it. The main focus is observation. What you see must be virtuous, and you must pay attention to filtering information. There is no need to be afraid. Otherwise, it will be difficult to fake death.  Entry gate.

To understand the mind and nature, one must understand the true self, which is the soul. Once the soul comes out, it can be said that victory is guaranteed. If you get the secret and practice it, you can expect to achieve immortality.  The poem says: "Before refining the elixir, you should first refine your nature. Before you practice the great medicine, you should first cultivate your heart. When your nature is settled, the nature of the elixir will be natural. If your heart is clear, then the medicinal seedlings will emerge." To achieve the goal of clearly understanding the nature of the mind, one should first refine the method of retracting the mind before speaking.  Only by practicing Jing Gong and calming one's mind can one practice cultivation.  Calmness leads to stillness, and quietness leads to life. Not only must we be able to be still in stillness, but we must also be able to be still in movement.

The so-called heartbeat does not mean that the heart is really moving, but the essence is the movement of thoughts.  The so-called Shen Chi does not mean that the Yuan Shen is outside, but actually refers to the consciousness.  Consciousness and thoughts are one thing, but they consume essence and energy.  There are many thoughts and ideas. If you can get rid of these thieves, your true nature will become clear.  If there is no desire, there is no need to be greedy. If there is no greed and no pursuit, the heart will be empty, and worries and delusions will not be tired. If you add Qi training, you will be able to understand your mind and see your nature.  Master Bai Yuchan said: "It is not difficult to join the Xuan Sect, but it is difficult to join the Xing Sect. If you enter from here, you will have the origin. If you follow the wrong path, it will be like searching for traces in the void or searching for the road through water." Master Bai is one of the five ancestors of the Southern Sect.  , this statement hits the point of the dual cultivation of life and life from sex to life. Who in the Yunnan sect cultivates life but not sex?  !  From nature to life, the heart should be empty and the spirit should be stable. If the heart can be made immobile, the alchemy foundation can be established.  Focus on nourishing the heart. If the heart is excited and the mind is tired, the mind is calm and the mind is idle. If you are tired, the Tao will be hidden. If you are idle, the Tao will be born. If your chest is vast, you can carry the Tao.  You should know the way of frugality in your mind. Being frugal with your eyes can nourish your spirit. Being frugal with your words can nourish your energy. Being frugal with things can nourish your heart. Being frugal with your desires can nourish your essence. Being frugal with your heart can nourish your life and death. Frugality is the handle of all things.  Being thrifty in mind is the key to cultivating the Tao.

To control the mind, you should understand the three internal and external barriers.  In the three inner gates, the nature does not change emotions, the qi does not turn into essence, and the spirit does not flow outward; in the outer three gates, the ears do not listen obscenely, the eyes do not look blindly, and the mouth does not deceive the heart.  The heart of cultivating the Tao should be as strong as gold and jade. Only in this way can we overcome all worries and difficulties and return to the Tao with our whole heart.  Cultivation of the real person should be based on compassion, cultivating and observing virtue as the foundation, Taoism as the root, and abstain from alcohol, sex, wealth, and energy.  The ancients said that wine, sex, wealth, and wealth are like water, fire, and swords, which are the four major demons for cultivators. If you cannot conquer these four demons, there is no need to cultivate immortality.  It should be noted that "a house is a measure of people, a wife is a boat for ferrying passengers, money and silk are things that circulate, and children are injustices before our eyes." Cultivators should not be greedy for money, and should be content and content in poverty.

Sexual skills are in full swing, blessing and rounding.  The true power of understanding is due to the Supreme Enlightenment, and the phenomena in the world are not mysterious.  Heaven's heart naturally harmonizes with people's hearts, and the mysterious purpose must be understood after awakening.  Forty-eight thousand things are not Dharma, and the wonderful existence of inaction is the true interpretation.  "Heaven's heart is the essence of true nature."??, the wonderful existence of inaction is the work of the soul, and the consciousness of the soul is practiced simultaneously.  Do both external and internal refining according to this method, and you can obtain magic and golden elixirs.  Compared with Youwei cultivation, it is faster and easier to enter the automatic cultivation state.

The prerequisite for knowing one¡¯s mind and one¡¯s nature is knowing one¡¯s mind.  Only by understanding its concept and keeping it clean and dust-free can it be visible.  Those who see nature first see its light, cleanse their souls and refine their souls, and then see their true self and soul.  After cultivating the soul, working hard both internally and externally, and cultivating both life and life simultaneously, you can start practicing cultivation.

    3. The Theory of Cultivation of Virtue and Mingdao

The physical characteristics of Tao are ten characteristics: emptiness, nature, purity, simplicity, simplicity, ease, tranquility, inaction, weakness, and non-struggle.  These physical characteristics are reflected in a person's body and are the highest virtues.  Superior virtue is the personification and ethics of Tao, and Tao is embodied in what people call virtue.  The noblest virtue is natural and invisible, with no visible signs or clues.  It is inner and implicit, not revealing, but revealed unintentionally.  What are the characteristics of Tao, what are the characteristics of superior virtue.

??The highest virtue is virtue without intention, the lower virtue is virtue intentionally, the highest virtue is no action but no thought, the lower virtue is action but there is thought.  As the "Qingjing Sutra" says: "The superior ones are non-quarrelsome, the inferior ones are contentious, the superior virtues are not virtuous, and the inferior virtues are obsessed with virtues. Those who are persistent do not understand morality. The reason why sentient beings do not know the true way is because they have delusional minds. Since they have delusional minds,  That is to frighten the spirit, to frighten the spirit, to be attached to all things, to be attached to all things, and to be greedy, and to be greedy and to be greedy, and to be greedy and to be greedy, and to be troubled and to have delusional thoughts, and to be distressed physically and mentally, you will be humiliated, sink into a sea of ??suffering, and lose your true path forever.  The Tao of the Eternal Way is self-sufficient for those who understand it, and those who have enlightened it are always peaceful and tranquil." "The Tao Te Ching" says: "Higher virtues are not virtuous, so there is virtue; lower virtues do not lose virtue, so there is no virtue. Superior virtue is inaction and nothing.  If you do it with low virtue, you have thought about it. If you do it with superior benevolence, you have no thought for it. If you do it with superior righteousness, you have thought of it. If you do it with superior etiquette and fail to respond, you will throw it away. Therefore, if you lose the way, you will be virtuous, and if you lose virtue, you will be behind.  Benevolence, loss of benevolence and then righteousness, loss of justice and then propriety. Those who are disrespectful of etiquette, loyalty and trustworthiness are weak, and the beginning of chaos. Those who know before are the brilliance of Tao, but the beginning of foolishness. Therefore, a true man should be thick with it and not be thin with it.  In fact, if you don¡¯t live in this beauty, you will go to that place and take this one.¡±

??As the Holy Ancestor said, the so-called virtue should be to follow the right path.  Without realizing the true state of Tao, without attaining Tao, and losing Tao and losing virtue, people need to value virtue, practice virtue, and keep virtue.  Losing virtue is followed by benevolence, losing benevolence is followed by righteousness, and losing righteousness is followed by propriety.  People have not attained the Tao and have not realized the Tao, so they must pay attention to the cultivation of virtue, virtue, and virtue.  The purpose of cultivating virtue for ten thousand days is to realize and attain the Tao.  With the Tao, there is no need to consider virtue or not, because the mind and body are in line with the Tao, and everything is in line with nature, and virtue is transformed into it. Being virtuous without virtue does not require virtue. This is the highest virtue and true virtue.  If you have not yet attained the Dao, you must practice virtue and uphold your virtue day after day, year after year, until you have attained the Dao.  If you also lack virtue, then you should pay attention to and practice benevolence, righteousness, and etiquette.  The five principles of Tao, virtue, benevolence, righteousness, and propriety are the cultivation practices that cultivators must achieve.  Its ultimate goal is Tao, which is the general guideline. Those who are immoral, immoral, and immoral will never reach the realm of Tao.  Those who lack virtue, virtuous heart, and virtuous conduct must start from the practice of propriety, righteousness, and benevolence, step by step, to reach the state of being fully virtuous, virtuous, and virtuous, and then they can enter the door of Tao.
