It rained several times in a row, and the heat of summer disappeared without a trace. Even the air had a moist smell. Liu Junhao had been feeling depressed staying indoors for the past few days.  On the contrary, Professor Zhao is more adaptable to such weather, and lives a leisurely life. Sometimes when the rain stops, he goes to the backyard to pick up half a bowl of chrysanthemums and stir-fry them, or he goes to break fungus under the tree.

These two things grow very fast on rainy days, especially the fungus. The hairy wolfberry tree in the yard that has been dead for a year or two grows everywhere.

Then again, Professor Zhao's cooking skills are growing day by day. He has retired and has nothing to do. Recently, apart from doing some research, he has spent all his time on eating. He even asked Wang Shengli to bring him some food.  I came here with this recipe and thought about it when I had nothing to do. Now I am already half a chef.

On the fourth day, the weather completely cleared up, and the scorching sun reappeared in the sky to show off its power. At this moment, Liu Junhao and Er Mazi had arrived at the county joint venture station. There were many numb drivers looking at their large and small bags.  Some people thought they had just gotten off the bus and stepped forward to solicit business.

They took Dr. Wang¡¯s private car to the county town early in the morning. The dirt road at the end of the mountain was particularly difficult to walk at first. The bumps almost caused Liu Junhao, who had been pampered recently, to break his bones.  Fortunately, this state only lasted for half an hour before we reached the newly built highway, and the car sped up quickly.

Both he and Er Mazi¡¯s eyes revealed joy. After the road is repaired, it will only take one and a half hours from Daqingshan to the county seat. In the past, the mountain road alone took nearly two hours.

Compared with Daqingshan, the county town is like heaven and earth. It is bustling everywhere and indescribably prosperous. Er Mazi praised him repeatedly at first, but after eating a lot of car exhaust, he coughed and said: "  The air here is better, but living in a place like this may shorten your life."

Now there are luxury buses to major cities in the province every day in the county. After the two bought the tickets, they sat on the bus early when the bus departed. Because they had money, they did not sit in the front, but  They both sat in the last row of the car.

Originally, Liu Junhao advised him to deposit the money on the card and withdraw it when he went to the place. This was much safer. However, after Er Mazi found out that it would cost dozens of yuan more, he refused and insisted on taking it with him. He had no choice but to carry it with him.  Liu Junhao had no choice but to follow his wishes.  However, when we were riding in the car, we specially asked him to sit on the side by the window.

When the seats in the car were less than half full, the driver had already started the car. As soon as he left the station, less than fifty meters away, someone stopped the car and got on. The conductor actually charged him ten yuan less, which made him get on first.  Many people began to shout dissatisfaction.

"What's it called? Who told you to take the bus at the station? You have to pay an invoice. Of course it's expensive." The conductor explained nonchalantly, which made Er Mazi feel distressed. He said he had known he would have taken the bus outside the station.

Along the way, we met many people who stopped us on the way, and their prices were cheaper than those at the station. Er Mazi grumbled about this for a long time.

Although the air conditioner was turned on in the car, it was still a bit hot and dry. In addition, the windows were closed and the air circulation was not smooth. After a while, most of the passengers in the car fell asleep. Liu Junhao couldn't help but slump his head on the seat after holding on for a while.  .

I don¡¯t know how long it took, but suddenly the conductor shouted loudly: ¡°I feel like I¡¯m still awake. There are often thieves getting on the bus in front of me. Please be careful.¡±

After hearing this, Er Mazi immediately touched his pocket nervously and felt relieved when he found that the money was still there.

Seeing that some people were still sleeping on their seats, the conductor woke them up one by one and asked them to stay alert and not doze off during the journey. From this point on, Liu Junhao found that this sturdy conductor was quite good.

Sure enough, a lot of people stopped the car soon, and the driver stopped the car helplessly. This time, seven or eight people came up, and the car was completely surrounded. There were still three or four people who didn't even have seats.  .

With the reminder from the conductor just now, the passengers on the car were all startled. No one was sleeping anymore. About half an hour later, four of the people who had just got on the car got off. The conductor breathed a sigh of relief and said, "It's okay now."  Okay, everyone feels in their pockets to see if the money is missing?"

After half a minute, no one answered, and then he explained: "The place just now is a waiting point. There are often thieves waiting there, because there are other people on the bus, so we have to stop them. I hope you can forgive me."  This explanation changed most passengers' views on them, and no one cared about the extra ten dollars they spent at the station.  After all, nothing is easy to do these days, and drivers also want to make more money.

At around two o'clock in the afternoon, the bus finally drove into the station. Although he had already seen the prosperity of the county, Er Mazi was deeply shocked again.  Liu JunHao was a little better. He had visited the county town several times when he was in school.  Er Mazi was different. Even though he was relatively shrewd in the village, the furthest he had ever gone in his life was to dig saplings in other towns for a few days. This busy scene made him feel like Grandma Liu entering the Grand View Garden.  I couldn¡¯t help but sigh.

"Xiao Hao, do you know where south is? Is it this direction?" Er Mazi stood outside the station and asked loudly, pointing in the east direction, which immediately attracted the attention of several people waiting for the taxi.

"Uncle Guangxi, this is Dong." Liu Junhao hurriedly pulled him away.

In fact, many rural people become confused when they arrive in the city for the first time, and their sense of direction becomes very poor.  This is mainly due to the fact that most buildings in rural areas are built in a north-south layout, but this is different in cities. Coupled with the obstruction of high-rise buildings, it is difficult to see the sun, so unfamiliar people can easily lose their way.

Different from Er Mazi's behavior when he entered the Grand View Garden, he felt an indescribable tension and depression. The crowded vehicles on the road kept making harsh noises. Everyone here was in a hurry, without even the slightest smile on their faces.  Instead, everyone looked at them with a look of indifference.

No wonder people in the city keep running to Liujiagou. Professor Zhao even wants to retire there.

The environment of Daqingshan is beautiful, and the life of country people is leisurely. They work in the fields during the day, and at night a large group of people gather together to chat and laugh heartily. You can't find this kind of life in the city at all.  There are no deafening frogs or flashing fireflies in the city.

For a moment, Liu Junhao actually missed the things at home. He wondered if Xiaopi would not adapt to being away from him for a few days. Those half-grown rabbits should not eat dew grass and then have diarrhea

They didn't go far, so they just found a small restaurant not far from the station and had a meal. Liu Junhao had been hungry for a long time and quickly finished a large bowl of noodles. After eating, he asked Er Mazi  Wait there, go to the newsstand and buy a map yourself. You can't save a map when you go out.

The newsstand's business was quite prosperous. He waited for a few minutes before buying a map for five yuan. Unexpectedly, when he walked back, he saw several people surrounding Er Mazi talking about something on the roadside, and there was another person.  Someone has to pull him away.

What happened again?  Liu Junhao was startled, rushed up and grabbed Er Mazi and asked, "Uncle Guangxi, what's wrong?"

"Who are you, are you with him?" Several people looked at Liu Junhao warily.

"He is my uncle, why are you pulling him? Let him go quickly."

"It's like this, little brother," the man in black clothes explained, "I just lost my wallet, and your uncle and this gentleman picked it up"

I didn't expect that so many things would happen in such a blink of an eye. It turned out that after Er Mazi finished his meal and paid the bill, he saw that there were many people dining and felt embarrassed to stay in the restaurant any longer, so he left the restaurant with his big bag.  .  Unexpectedly, he saw the man in black drop a wallet within a few steps. Just as he was about to call out, the wallet was picked up by a man wearing glasses, and the man in black left in a taxi.

After picking up the money, the man walked straight up to Er Mazi and wanted to share it with him. He accidentally opened his wallet and revealed a stack of hundred-dollar bills inside.

Although Er Mazi was a little moved, he also knew that such ill-gotten gains could not be taken. This thing was too hot to handle.  So he sternly refused, saying that the money he found should be returned to the owner, but the man wearing glasses refused to say anything. When the two were arguing, the owner came back in a taxi and saw that he was wearing glasses.  I asked him for the leather bag in my hand.

The man with glasses had to return the bag, but after checking the cash in the bag, the man in black said that three thousand yuan and a bank card were missing. One of them must have taken it away, so he started arguing.  Let them go, they have to confirm who really took their money, and they said they were going to the bank. At this time, a supportive person on the roadside also said that they should go to the bank to prove their innocence.

Although it was the first time for Liu Junhao to encounter such a thing, he could still hear something fishy here. He thought for a while and said: "It's too troublesome to go to the bank. It's better to go to the station police station. It's less than five hundred meters ahead.  , let¡¯s go now, wouldn¡¯t it be better to let the police search you" Then he pulled the man with glasses and headed towards the police station.

Several people were stunned for a moment. The man in black suddenly slapped his head and said, "I remembered that the bank card and three thousand dollars were put in another wallet. I took the wrong bag when I went out. Is that really wrong?"  Come on, I¡¯m really sorry¡¡±

The man with glasses also broke away from Liu Junhao's pull and said: "Since there is nothing wrong, there is no need to go to the police station. I have something to do, so I will leave first." Then the man in black also left in a hurry, and several onlookers  They all dispersed, but there was an old man in his fifties or sixties patting Liu Junhao on the shoulder.??: "You're so cool, young man, otherwise you must have been deceived by these people again. Hey, these people are just the city's stinky shit, specializing in deceiving outsiders."
