    Toynbee (1889-1975), a famous British historian, believed in his famous historical study that historical civilization has the so-called process of birth, growth, aging and death.

    Toynbee once used the concept of challenge and response theory to explain his outstanding insights into the rise and fall of major human civilizations.

    How people respond when faced with challenges, and whether they have enough creativity and adaptability to respond to the challenges of generations, and this kind of "challenge and response" often determines the future of a civilization.
