Volume 54: Birthday (Part 1)

This is Mary's first birthday after John left Mary. The florist delivered early in the morning the festive flowers that John ordered once every ten years. The festivals include Valentine's Day, birthdays, and wedding anniversaries.

Although the greeting card on the flowers made Mary sad, it also seemed to tell Mary that John had never left her. This gift brought her a sense of happiness beyond rational understanding.

Liang Xi went to Mary's house early in the morning to prepare breakfast, but it was actually breakfast, because Mary couldn't eat the food Liang Xi made.  Liang Xi brought refreshments, and sat in the front yard with Mary to remember John.  Mary began to talk about what Liang Xi had heard many times, or what she heard about her and John for the first time.  There are tears in the smile, and the memory is full of happiness.

A van parked in front of Marie's house, and it was someone from the pet store who delivered Poppy's birthday present: a kinardo.  Mary fell in love with Ginrador when she saw it. The trained Girardeau was very smart and knew that this old lady was her new owner, so she was very friendly to Mary.  The staff of the pet store explained and explained some things, mainly the time of Ginrador's regular physical examination and so on.

At Mary's insistence, the kennel was placed in the living room. When the staff was busy installing the kennel, Mary couldn't wait to lead Ginardo to the street.  Liang Xi asked about the price, and the staff told Liang Xi that the dog was sent to London by a special plane from a dog training school in Northern Ireland, and they didn't know how much it cost.  All they knew was that the price of the kennel was three thousand pounds.

In addition to the dog and the kennel, they also brought a small refrigerator, which was specially used to preserve the food of Ginrador. Ginrador ate more pounds in one meal than Liang Xi ate in three days.  Forget it, Ginlardo still has accident insurance and medical insurance.  Liang Xi didn't want to hear the fact that people are not as good as dogs anymore, so he let the staff work on their own and focus on making birthday cakes.

Under Mary's teaching, Liang Xiting knew how to make West Point.  It is a pity that Liang Xi lacks the delicacy and patience that a pastry chef must have. The appearance of the products he makes looks rough, and the taste is good or bad in many cases depends on luck.  For example, today's three-layer birthday cake, with the naked eye, it is obvious that the layers are uneven and the width and thickness are different. Liang Xi thinks that it is fine to cover it with cream so that it cannot be seen.  However, the cream seemed to have been beaten too much, so he had to pour it out and beat it again. Liang Xi really didn't want to stand in front of the mixer and watch and wait idly.

So the cream had to be whipped again.

After tossing the birthday cake, it was already lunch time before Mary took Ginrador home.  It was because she was worried about Liang Xi's steak frying skills that Mary rushed back. This morning, she had a lot of fun with Kim Lardo.

Having lunch and chatting, Mary told Liang Xi: "The community wants to open baking courses, and the tuition fees will be deducted as charity funds to help those in need. Do you think I can go?"

Liang Xi replied: "It depends on the time of the course."

Mary said: "From 7:30 to 9:30 on Friday night, it's next to the community supermarket two hundred meters away. A few days ago, people in the community came to me and told me about it. I was worried that I was not capable enough.  , did not agree to come down."

Liang Xi said: "You must be capable enough. The baking class should be very popular. For many people, it can not only learn things, but also an opportunity for leisure and socializing. I think there should be many people who sign up. I support you."

    Mary said: "Then I agree."

    Liang Xi nodded.

Mary chatted: "I'm going to change my mobile phone, and the old one always has a mess."

"Oh?" Liang Xi reached out and took Mary's mobile phone, pointed it at Mary, Mary grinned for a second, and successfully unlocked it. Liang Xi said with a smile: "Our cooperation is still so tacit."

Liang Xi checked the phone, but found no programs running in the background: "If you don't like it, just change it. I will save the phone number from the pet store first, and then import it to the card. Next time you change the phone, you can import the address book from the card back to the phone.  Inside."

Liang Xi opened the address book, which contained Mary's acquaintances and friends, as well as business-related people, such as banks and insurance.  While operating, Liang Xi asked casually, "Who is this Manda?" Mary is not very good at using smartphones.  Even when John was alive, Liang Xi often helped Mary operate the phone, install and uninstall software, and register accounts.  Because Mary couldn't count the English letters and numbers on the keypad, even the address book was entered one by one by Liang Xi.

Mary paused and asked, "What Mandala?"

Liang Xi didn't seem to care, so he changed the subject and asked, "This phone has been used for two years, will it work now?"

Mary was a little annoyed: "There are too many functions, too complicated. I don't use this function, and there are always people who enthusiastically teach me how to use this function. I still like the original flip phone."

Liang Xi took pictures of the screen of Mary's phone with his mobile phone, and returned the phone to Mary: "OK, the address book is saved. I will pay attention to the mobile phone brand online in the next few days."

&nbspIt is difficult for Mary to record her address book, and she doesn't know who the person named Manda is. Combined with what Mary said about the stuck situation, Liang Xi thinks that Mary's mobile phone is likely to be monitored.  This monitoring is not an official means of monitoring, the official can obtain user information directly through the service provider, without leaving the Manda address book.

? When an unfamiliar phone number appears in the address book and the phone freezes, it may be because the phone is being monitored.  Not just eavesdropping on phone calls, but all text messages and social software communications.  In addition, the monitor can also use your mobile phone number to make calls, and the cost of the call will be borne by you.

Mary did not report hearing the sound of electric current and the situation of the mobile phone being stuck, indicating that the level of the monitor is relatively high.  Why would anyone spy on an old lady?  Liang Xi believes that it should have something to do with John's death.  But Liang Xi didn't understand mobile phone communication, computer hacking and other related knowledge. He couldn't be sure of the real situation, and he couldn't know who was monitoring Mary's mobile phone.

Looking for Liu Zhen to help?  Liu Zhen has technicians, but they are general technicians at work, not Liu Zhen's own dedicated technicians.  As a policeman, Liu Zhen has basic curiosity, while Liang Xi doesn't want too many people to know about it.  There is only one way to find Helen.  Helen is the policewoman that Liang Xi met in the hostage incident at Maria Hospital. She is secretly investigating John's death.  Helen is also Liang Xi's only trusted ally in investigating the truth about John's death.

However, Helen is an agent of the crisis emergency response team, and her authority and resources are limited.  Asking Helen to find a way to track down Manda's phone call may cause trouble for Helen.  Not looking down on Helen, Helen doesn't seem to have too many cleverness and tricks.  To do bad deeds must take evil paths, and blatant theft is robbery.

I can only think of a way, but I hate that the resources I can use are too few.
