Chapter 21: The Elephant Who Can Fight the Fire

The bison refused to put its hooves on the slippery bamboo pole no matter what, and was urged by the furious Yunchuan with a whip, this guy jumped into the water directly.

Seeing the buffalo swimming in the water, Yun Chuan, holding the rein of the buffalo, trembled nervously.

He always thought that bison couldn't swim, but now, watching this guy's four hooves tossing and turning in the clear water, he was somewhat sluggish until the bamboo raft was slowly moving towards Hexin Island with the reins of the buffalo.  Only then quickly tied the rein to the horizontal bar, and raised the penny to help.

The buffalo was disgusting when he was swimming, a series of bubbles floated up from the water, and then burst, the stench hit Yun Chuan's face head-on, making him nauseous.

Yun Chuan didn't care about these things, and when the penny couldn't reach the bottom of the water, he needed to hold up the sharp penny to monitor the movement in the water.

The river water is clear and swimming fish can be seen, especially the golden Yellow River carp swimming past the bamboo raft in groups, which made Yun Chuan think that there really was a golden dragon in the river.

The bison wanted to chase the school of carp striving to reach the upper reaches, but was finally dragged down the river by the bamboo raft.

After struggling a few times, the bison gave up. It felt cold and wanted to go ashore quickly.

When the bison stepped on the sand, Yun Chuan let go of the reins, and jumped onto Hexin Island with his turtle shell bag on his back.

The bamboo raft was dragged onto the beach by Abu. Yun Chuan looked at the giant pandas who were still eating bamboo while watching the excitement, and felt that it was better to stay away from them.

The facing surface of Hexin Island is a huge red sandstone, which is why the river is divided into two here.

On the backside of the red sandstone, there is a large plain. The grass and trees are flourishing on this plain, and the weeds are almost overwhelming. In the midst of these weeds, some trees with large crowns grow here and there.  It's bare, and I can't tell what kind of tree it is.

I always felt that these trees were very familiar. Just when Yun Chuan wanted to take a closer look, a torrential rain came towards him, pouring water on his head and face.

The buffalo had just shaken off the water on its body, and then lay down to rest very close to the fire, like an ox on a high road.

Abu put four roasted rabbits on the fire to heat them up, and the other six people seemed not interested in talking, and stretched out their hands to warm the fire.

    "I didn't find the cave."

    Abramovich finally expressed their concerns.

Yun Chuan tore off a rabbit leg, gave the remaining rabbit to Little Wolf, sat by the fire and said, "Let's build a house, this place is very good, and it will be our home from now on."

"There are giant pandas over there in the bamboo forest. I saw them just now. There are quite a few of them."

    "Then drive them away."

    "We can't beat it."

    "Then light the fire."

"We couldn't even find grass seeds after the fire was lit."

"We eat fish, bamboo shoots, bamboo rats, anything we can eat."

Hearing what Yun Chuan said, the six teenagers obviously had more confidence in Yun Chuan, and immediately took the roasted rabbit from the branch and ate it.

Abu also remembered the tragic situation of giant pandas in the original tribe, so he gained some confidence and continued to eat and drink.

The next day, Abu woke up from the cold and turned his head to look for Yunchuan, only to find that there was only a thick layer of hay left where he slept last night. People were gone, not only the cows, but even the little wolf.  .

Abu was taken aback, turned over and sat up, looked around, and couldn't see Yunchuan in his field of vision, only six boys and girls who were still sleeping soundly.

    He abandoned us.

This was the first thought that came to Abu's mind, and then he found that his heart was so panicked that he had nowhere to go.

All of a sudden, he jumped up, kicked the six teenagers awake, put his hands around his mouth and called out loudly: "Yunchuan¡ª"

Yun Chuan, who was fishing by the river, heard Abu's mournful cry, frowned slightly, his hands shook, and a big carp that was about to bite his finger suddenly turned around and dived into the deep water.

When the fish was gone, Yun Chuan roared angrily: "What's your name!"

For some reason, when he heard Yun Chuan's voice, all the uneasiness in Abu's heart disappeared immediately, and the other six teenagers who showed panicked expressions immediately became normal. As for the tears that just flowed out, there was no way to say  up.

Yun Chuan withdrew his hands that were red from the cold, and put them in the pit of his diaphragm to warm them up. Abu and the others who came following the sound saw the two one-foot-long fish strung together by branches, still jumping feebly.  So they gathered around, wondering who Yun Chuan was.??Even clever enough to whip the fire wall with a bamboo rolled up in his nose.

The wall of fire was originally built of dead grass and branches, but after being slapped a few times by the elephant with a huge bamboo broom, it fell apart.

The fire wall was gradually extinguished, and the elephant discarded the bamboo broom, called "beep" a few times towards the empty peach tree plain, and then turned back to the bamboo forest.

Yun Chuan climbed down from the peach tree with three terrified teenagers. After looking at each other, he tiptoed back to the red sandstone area with the bison.

Now, he began to understand why the consumption of bamboo forest land was so large.

There are two elephants that eat hundreds of catties of bamboo a day. If the consumption of the bamboo forest is not large, it will be hell.

In view of this, Yun Chuan felt that the plan to burn the bamboo forest must be advanced, even if the two elephants would fight the fire!

In winter, the bamboo forest is dry, and the ground is covered with dry bamboo leaves, which is a good time to set fire.

Yun Chuan, who proclaimed himself the owner of Peach Blossom Island, finally completed the survey of the boat-shaped island in the middle of the river along the river bank.

The island is not big, with a total length of no more than five kilometers. More than half of the area is covered with bamboo, and the rest is a plain area. As for the red sandstone area currently occupied by Yunchuan, it is only an insignificant part.

Yun Chuan thinks this is very reasonable, the residential area does not need to be big.

It's just that those two damn elephants and those annoying pandas are his serious worries.
