Text Chapter 90 Problem

Su Xiaoru reached out to take the painting, because Zhou Xia said that the printed matter is a copy. Because it is printed with a printer, under natural light, it will have more substance and color than the ink used for ordinary painting.

She also observed the natural light outside carefully.

This painting does not have those weird colors. It is a more orthodox ink use, so naturally it cannot be a copy.  In addition, except that the paper quality looks relatively new and bright, other aspects of this painting are quite perfect.  Of course, this is also related to the simplicity and smoothness of the painting itself. If a modern art master copied the painting, it would still be possible to fake it.

Zhou Xia was more concerned. He also asked Xu Yaohui where he was going next, and asked him whether he should take the painting home first.

Xu Yaohui laughed and said, "Bring it with you. It doesn't take up much space anyway. Maybe someone will buy it at a high price later! Also, I know very well in my heart that I will dig a hole today and wait for me to jump out of it."  There are so many people who have laid landmines and are ready to blow me up, so I don¡¯t have to worry about having nowhere to go. All the old foxes are looking at my new works of law and think I am easy to deceive, and they are all waiting to see my jokes. Fortunately, I am not a  I am fighting alone, but you two are with me, and if I jump into a pit and get bombed, we all do it together. I really want to see who can have the last laugh."

Su Xiaoru was speechless when she heard, "Uncle Xu said it in such a scary way."

Xu Yaohui still had a smile on his face, "It's not that it's scary, it's true. You all saw what Lao Wang did just now. Fortunately, he still saved my face and gave us this painting at a low price.

I think we don¡¯t need to consider asking experts for appraisal for the time being. If it is really a good thing, these greedy guys will pounce on it like hungry wolves when they see it.  "Zhou Xia felt that Xu Yaohui was a bad guy, so he didn't forget to tease Lao Wang at this time, but he liked this style. He also said with pride, "As the saying goes, if you don't enter the tiger's den, you won't get the tiger's cubs.  We really should let them know that the world does not revolve around them, nor will it be based on their will.  Regardless of the dragon's den or the tiger's den, as long as there are good things, we dare to accept them. Of course, we'd better keep those junk things for themselves.  "Xu Yaohui patted him on the shoulder and laughed, "That's right!  Young people must have such vigor. Old guys like me are not afraid of them, so you don't have to be afraid. You have to let them see how powerful we are.  Even if the worst happens, there is no need to worry, just keep an eye on your wallet.  "

"Uncle Xu is right, we have nothing to lose, but they themselves should be careful about their treasures!" Zhou Xia also laughed, can you eat it to save face?

The two guys were so high-spirited that Su Xiaoru couldn¡¯t join them, but she still clenched her fists and cheered.  That painting was left to her who was more careful to keep, which also made her feel that she had a heavy responsibility on her shoulders.  If this is truly authentic, it is worth hundreds of thousands. She has not graduated yet, and one hundred thousand dollars is already an astronomical figure to her.

So, Xu Yaohui led the way, followed by Zhou Xia and Su Xiaoru. After a few steps, Xu Yaohui led them into the roadside shop again.  In the Hemiao District of the old city, in addition to restaurants,

Outside of restaurants, the most popular ones are these various antique, calligraphy and painting shops. If you have nothing to do and go shopping there, one day may not be enough.

This store also specializes in business works. The layout inside is not much different from that of Lao Wang¡¯s house before. Even the paintings of these famous masters are very similar.  There is no need to say more about Qi Baishi and Zhang Daqian. Any calligraphy and painting shop that does not have the paintings of these two masters will definitely be despised.  In addition, the works of Pan Tianshou, Lu Yanshao, Huang Zhou, Wu Changshuo and other painters who are popular in Donghai are also available.

Su Xiaoru looked around with great interest, but Xu Yaohui didn't even look at it at all, and went straight to the topic to talk to the shop owner.

Zhou Xia looked through the paintings displayed in this store and wondered whose works the store owner would bring out next.  It can be seen that what this store sells are works that are relatively popular in the Donghai calligraphy and painting market. Everyone likes local famous artists!  This also gave profiteers a good opportunity to commit fraud. Although Zhou Xia did not look at the calligraphy and painting works displayed outside this store very carefully and just glanced at them, he still dared to draw conclusions. At least, 100%  Ninety-five and above are all quality products.

Generally speaking, only one or two paintings are authentic, and they are used to create pressure.

Xu Yaohui quickly chatted with the shop owner. Since they had made an appointment before, the shop owner Li Weiguo quickly brought out two paintings for Xu Yaohui to appreciate.

Xu Yaohui also called Zhou Xia and Su Xiaoru to come over to study together.Of course, before doing the research, he briefly introduced Zhou Xia to Li Weiguo, with the same meaning as before in Lao Wang's shop, saying that they were the staff invited by Xu Yaohui.

The thin Li Weiguo just smiled and didn't take it seriously.  However, when he saw the scroll in Su Xiaoru's hand, he suddenly became interested and immediately asked her, "Excuse me, little girl, what scroll are you holding in your hand? Can you show it to me?"

Su Xiaoru cast an inquiring look at Xu Yaohui to see what he meant. Xu Yaohui smiled and replied, "Old Li, you said this! This is the treasure we just received. It's a good thing!" Li Weiguo smiled and said, "It turns out.  You collected it, Lao Xu. You can always give it to me for appreciation, right?" "Of course you can. This painting by Pan Tianshou cost me a lot of money. After you see it, Lao Li, you have to give it to me.  An honest evaluation, otherwise." Xu Yaohui looked at him with a smile.

"That's for sure. Let's communicate with each other and share what we have!" Li Weiguo immediately nodded and agreed. He also couldn't wait to know what good things Xu Yaohui, a guy who has just entered the calligraphy and painting industry, can buy. Everyone can  Waiting to see his jokes.

Su Xiaoru then reluctantly put the painting on the table, not forgetting to say, "This painting is quite precious!"

Li Weiguo was good-tempered, with a smile on his face and said he would take a closer look.

At the same time, he did not forget that Ding asked Xu Yaohui and the others to appreciate the two treasures he took out, both of which he got with great difficulty.  What else can he say? This is because he sees Xu Yaohui's face. If it were someone else, he wouldn't show it.

Xu Yaohui has long been immune to this. Even Su Xiaoru felt that it was very fake after hearing such words, because what Lao Wang said before was more sensational, but what he brought out was so bad.

Zhou Xia, on the other hand, paid no attention to their quarrels and just started looking at the painting.

Li Weiguo took out two paintings, one was a peony painting by Wu Changshuo and the other was a painting of clouds and mountains by Lu Yanshao.

Needless to say, the works of this type by the two painters are also in the worst-hit areas where quality is rampant in the market.

What Zhou Xia first appreciated was Wu Changshuo¡¯s painting of wealthy peonies.

He is still doing the same old thing, first judging from paper and ink. If you can't pass this level, then there is no need to look at other aspects.

Of course, we must first find out when this painting was painted.

This can be seen from the inscription on the painting. The inscription above is that if you forget your poems, you will be old and have no car, and you will paint wealth and splendor when you are idle.  Yanzhi spent all his money to buy it, so he asked his maid to beg from the neighbor's child.  Ji has not yet begun the fifth day of summer,

Anji Wu Changshuo, Zhou Xia immediately made a calculation in his mind. This year, that is, the year of Awa, more than ninety years ago, he first looked at the material of paper and ink to see if it really reached the era of the Republic of China.

Of course, he also kept in mind the lesson of the previous painting by Pan Tianshou, which was identified by the system as authentic. Even if it looks new, it may not be a replica.  You have to carefully look at the drawings to find the most realistic evidence.

¡°However, today¡¯s counterfeiting technology has really improved a lot compared to the original. If you use old paper for counterfeiting, it will be difficult to prevent it.  But even so, Zhou Xia's appraisal still needs to be done.

Through the most detailed appraisal with a magnifying glass, Zhou Xia did not find any special problems.

From various indications, this painting of wealthy peonies by Wu Changshuo does indeed look like it was in the trough years of the Republic of China.

Looking at the inscription above, Zhou Xia saw that it was very similar to Wu Changshuo's calligraphy style that he had seen before. There were no major differences in bell seals, seals, etc.

This made him a little confused, unable to make up his mind whether this was the genuine product of Wu Changshuo.

As for the appraisal of the rich peonies in the painting, Zhou Xia actually didn¡¯t attach much importance to it.

There is also a reason for this. Wu Changshuo's painting subject matter was too narrow and repeated too many times, so that his peony paintings became a compulsory course for later generations to imitate the author. Even Wu Changshuo's peony paintings are not similar to each other.  If so, then just don¡¯t get involved in this business.  Wu Changshuo's works, especially peony paintings, were all mass-produced by imitations of the author.

In addition, there are deeper reasons.

Even if the works signed by Wu Changshuo are authentic, many of them were ghostwritten by others.  Many of Wu Changshuo's figure paintings were written by Wang Zhen, and Wu Changshuo's inscriptions and postscripts can often be seen on Wang Zhen's paintings, so there is a saying of "Wang's paintings and Wu's inscriptions".  In his later years, Wu Changshuo's calligraphy, painting, and seal cutting remained high in style, so the quality of his paintings and calligraphy was always high.  In the 1920s, Japanese people came to Shanghai to buy Wu Changshuo's paintings, asking prices up to 100 taels of silver. Because Wu Changshuo had many social activities, he sometimes had to ask his disciple Zhao Yunhe to write for him. Therefore, collectors who want to purchase Wu Changshuo¡¯s works must be careful and cautious.  In addition to the quality of the defense, the works that Wu Changshuo hired to be ghostwritten also need to be carefully distinguished, and the prices vary greatly.

Zhou Xia had no choice but to use her trump card and let the system make a judgment and then draw a conclusion.  (To be continued
