"No matter how much you are worth, you shouldn't come to a place like this often even if you have money. A tip of one dollar is fine. Giving ten dollars will not only make people think of you as a gangster, a playboy, or a nouveau riche, but also  What can it be?¡±

The girl turned her head and looked around in the restaurant, then lowered her head and said, "Look at the old man in the corner. I dare say he is worth at least several million, but he just tipped the waiter fifty cents!"

Wang Geng turned his head and looked at it, grinned and said, "Look, he just ate a $3 sandwich. A tip of fifty cents is already a big deal!"

This guy was shouting in his mind, Damn, any sandwich costs three dollars. I can eat at least thirty such sandwiches at the stall at the entrance of Central Park!  What era is this?  This was a time when a bottle of Coca-Cola only cost five cents!

The fragrant steak in front of you only costs three dollars. If you put it in an ordinary Western restaurant, it would cost you only one dollar!

"What were you secretly talking about with that old man Anderson this morning? You actually asked the secretary to lure me away with chocolate for so long?" Kelly remembered the previous incident and now began to interrogate Wang Geng.

"Curiosity killed the cat! Nurse Kelly!" Wang Geng swallowed the steak in his mouth and took a sip of hot orange juice. He had no choice but to let the nurse keep an eye on him. He definitely wouldn't drink any wine!

"Why did curiosity kill the cat? Don't interrupt. I saw that you two must be discussing some ulterior motives. Didn't you see the light shining in the eyes of the old man Anderson behind you when we left? It was as if he had won a jackpot.  Yes!" Nurse Kelly said reluctantly.

"Of course Anderson won the jackpot, and an angel like me descended from the sky to save him and Pfizer! I gave him and his management team 14% of the shares with just one mouthful. It would be strange if he was unhappy!"

Wang Geng was quite dissatisfied. Damn, I can¡¯t bear to let go of my children. I¡¯m going to use these 14% shares to tie Anderson and his management team to me. Otherwise, why would you ask someone to work hard for you on the board of directors to pass it?  A proposal for a joint venture?

"14% of the shares? Isn't Pfizer owned by Anderson? Where did you get the shares of Pfizer? You are just a Chinese student from West Point who just extorted $50,000 from Edison and General Electric!"

Kelly was confused after hearing this. The longer she stayed with Wang Geng, the more the girl felt that the young man in front of her was confusing.

"Pfizer is of course owned by the Pfizer family. Old Charles Pfizer chose John Anderson as his successor, but most of the company's shares are still held by the Pfizer family. Anderson is just a senior professional manager. Of course, he himself  We treat Pfizer like home!¡±

Wang Geng explained patiently. Seeing that the girl was still asking questions like a curious baby, the guy frowned and said,

"Miss Kelly, it involves a lot of business secrets. Please forgive me for not revealing too much. Don't you believe the vision of Thomas Edison and John Anderson, old guys who have been in the business for a long time?"

The cooperation with me is an opportunity of great benefit and harmlessness to them and their company. I am the angel sent by God to save them and help them tide over the difficulties!  "

At this moment, Wang Geng¡¯s voice was low, magnetic and full of charm. The beautiful nurse opposite was stunned for a moment.

¡°Excuse me, sir, you seemed to have mentioned Thomas Edison and John Anderson just now?¡±

A middle-aged man¡¯s voice came from the stage behind Wang Geng, with an obvious New England accent where r was not pronounced.

Wang Geng turned around and saw a well-dressed, fat middle-aged man with a big nose and a beard sitting on the table behind him. He raised the wine glass in his hand to indicate that this table was for people only.  He was alone, with no traces of food left on the plate in front of him, a glass of red wine in his hand, and an open "Wall Street Journal" beside the plate.

"Aha What a coincidence. It turns out that you are a popular figure in the newspaper news these two days, our respected Brooklyn bridge jumping hero! The famous Mr. Wang, if you don't mind, could you please come over and have a chat?" Apparently  The middle-aged man had already recognized Wang Geng who was not wearing a scarf in front of him.

Damn, this guy is quite impressive. I know that I am a Brooklyn Bridge hero and an honorary citizen of New York. I don¡¯t know if he heard me when I mentioned $50,000 to Kelly just now. This guy doesn¡¯t seem to care at all.  The way you take it seriously?

Kelly looked at the middle-aged man opposite and felt that he looked familiar for a moment, but she couldn't remember who he was, but he must have appeared in New York newspapers often. In terms of that man's exposure??The attention is probably higher than that of the Mayor of New York!

The girl was stunned for a moment, but Wang Geng had already wiped his hands with a napkin, got up, turned around and sat opposite the middle-aged man, stretched out his hand and said with a smile,

"Wang Geng, a third-year student at West Point Military Academy, is an international student from China. Who are you?"

"You can just call me Jack, and I'll call you Wang. I'm old enough to be your father. Why don't we all be more casual, meet strangers, and just have a casual chat,"

The middle-aged man put down his wine glass and casually stretched out his hand to gently shake Wang Geng's hand. The cigar held in the other hand was obviously of high quality, at least better than the ones in Anderson's office.

Wang Geng turned to Kelly who was sitting behind him and smiled apologetically, "Can you order another ice cream?"  I just want to have a casual chat with this gentleman.

"Okay, Jack, you look like you are forty years old at most, but in China, your age is indeed the age of my father's generation. Come, for your health!" Wang Geng raised the juice he brought and saluted.  Look at each other.

"Haha, young man, you are really good at talking. I am not as young as you say. I wish you all the best!" The mysterious man named Jack raised the wine glass in his hand to signal and took a sip.  .

"I just happened to read news about you in the newspaper, and heard one or two familiar names, so I wanted to say hello to you. What, have you seen my old friend Thomas Edison recently?" Jack smiled slightly.  said.

Nima is an old friend of his Thomas Edison. He is seventy years old. The middle -aged man in front of him is at least fifty. I am afraid that you know Edison, and Edison does not know you?  Wang Geng cursed in his heart.

"Huh? Don't believe me? But strictly speaking Thomas should be considered an old friend of my father's, but he was also one of my idols when I was young. Even his desperate temper at work has never changed! Since the last time I saw him on his 70th birthday  As for him, there has been no news from him recently." Jack clearly saw the suspicion on Wang Geng's face and explained slowly and logically.

At this time, Kelly, who was behind Wang Geng, finally remembered who Jack was, but seeing Wang Geng's self-righteous manner, the girl didn't tell him yet, and called the waiter to order an ice cream, slowly and methodically.  He started eating, but his ears were perked up to listen carefully to the conversation between the two men.

"Jack, I met Mr. Edison last night. Although Mr. Edison is seventy years old, he is still going strong and admirable. This morning, I talked with Mr. John Anderson for a long time. I would like to ask,  What do you do, Jack?¡±

"The guests who can come to this St. Regis Hotel in Manhattan are either rich or noble. The Jack in front of me has a graceful temperament, an innate arrogance in his bones, and his eyes are wise and sharp. He may be a rival in the future!"

Wang Geng didn¡¯t want to offend anyone by being careless, so he wanted to explore his tone first.

"Young man, I have to admit that you have aroused my curiosity. Jumping from the Brooklyn Bridge to save people requires enough courage and luck, as well as very good water skills. This is very important to you as a West Point student.  Say, it¡¯s actually not a problem.¡±

What surprised and intrigued me was that a Chinese cadet from West Point Military Academy actually claimed to be an angel sent by God to save and help General Electric and Pfizer. I have to say, young man, you surprised me!  "

Jack looked at Wang Gengdao slowly and logically, but there was a trace of inquiry and question in his eyes.

"Aren't you going to tell me your name? If my guess is correct, you should be Mr. Morgan!"

Wang Geng finally remembered who the person in front of him was when he glanced at a photo in the Wall Street Journal while flipping through the newspaper yesterday!
