"This idea won't work at all! Are the Germans so easy to deal with? All the grains from Ukraine and Belarus have been transported back to the Western Front by trains one after another. How can we now discuss borrowing grain from them? How is that possible!" Trotz  Ji said bluntly.

"Comrade Trotsky, everything depends on man-made efforts. If we are overthrown, the Germans will not be left behind. Kamenev has another idea. Can you tell me about it?" Ulyanov sent a message to Kamenev.  He winked.

Kamenev hesitated, stood up from his chair, cleared his throat and said,

"The best option is to borrow food and arms from the Germans, and then release the Bolsheviks in the prisoner-of-war camps to organize the Red Army. The middle option is to just borrow food, and the worst option is to abandon the non-alignment policy, and the Soviet Union directly joins the Allies! And Germany and Austria  Fight side by side! Of course, it is not easy for the Russian people to make this turn. After all, whether it was the February Revolution or the October Revolution, our slogan was peace, bread and land!¡±

Kamenev¡¯s idea was obviously not a whim, but the result of careful consideration. No matter how awesome Soviet Russia was, it couldn¡¯t be the enemy of the whole world as Bukharin advocated, right?

Since peace cannot be negotiated with enemies like Kolchak's White Guards, the enemy's enemy, Germany, now becomes someone they can rely on and form alliances with. In the eyes of Kamenev and Zinoviev, Trotsky  The non-alignment policy of no war and no peace is nonsense!

Trotsky looked at Kamenev in surprise when he heard this, then turned to look at Ulyanov. Kamenev blushed and lowered his head, but Ulyanov had no expression on his face.  It seems that everything has nothing to do with me.

"Kamenev, are you planning to betray our cause and join hands with imperialism to continue imperialism's unjust war?" Trotsky shouted angrily!

"Consolidating the political power is the first priority. If the political power is overturned, how can we talk about our cause?" Zinoviev interjected from the side.

"Now the Allies are undoubtedly supporting the Kolchak gang with the purpose of overthrowing our new regime. The countryside and farmers are not on our side. The Chinese and Japanese may soon move westward. If we don't do it as soon as possible,  Looking for foreign aid and fighting alone, the hope of victory is getting slimmer and slimmer!" Sverdlov said from the side.

"Comrade Ulyanov, withdrawing from the war was the basis for our Bolshevik victory last year and this year. If we rejoin the war, maybe even the working class will leave us!" Trotsky knew in his heart that all this was Ukraine's victory.  Comrade Liyanov's plan was just told through the mouths of Kamenev and Zinoviev!

"Well, Comrade Trotsky, I think we need to keep pace with the times. Last year we told the working class that we wanted to withdraw from the war and we really meant it. This year we told the working class that in order to defend power, we must join hands with the enemies of our enemies.  Fighting side by side is also sincere. I believe the workers will understand the central government¡¯s approach. Defending the red regime is the first priority, and everything else is a side detail!¡±

The little tutor held his hands behind his back and turned around in circles while answering Trotsky's questions.

"Comrade Trotsky, please face the difficult situation facing the Soviet Union. Germany cannot let us fail and let Russia return to the Allied family. Can we just sit back and watch Germany fail? If the Allies fail, then the victorious Allied Powers will  The power is much stronger than it is now, how can we defend our political power then?¡±

"Land laws are not a panacea everywhere. On the 2.11 million square kilometers of land east of Lake Baikal and the Far East, the Chinese have implemented the 357 rent reduction regulations and the three-year land tax exemption policy. The government has redeemed more than 40 acres per person.  The remaining land is then leased to landless farmers!

Since we declared all land state-owned, the local middle peasants, rich peasants and landlords in the Chinese-occupied areas of Siberia almost overwhelmingly chose to become Chinese citizens!  China - The government pays half in cash and half in treasury bonds. The local poor peasants and laborers have virtually ceased to exist. Everyone can rent no more than 40 acres of land from the government for free for cultivation. Farm tools and seeds will be loaned free of charge within three years.  The upper limit of land tax after the year shall not exceed %"

Zinoviev obviously did some research on the land policy adopted by the Chinese government in the Northern Federal Autonomous Region. The result of this discussion with Kamenev was that if the Kolchaks also implemented such a policy in Russia,  Agrarian policy, then the "Agrarian Decree" relied on by Soviet Russia as a major killer weapon will be greatly eclipsed, and the foundation of the Bolshevik movement in the countryside will be severely weakened.

"The Chinese actually started building a railway southward on the Trans-Siberian Railway east of Lake Baikal. They said it was going to build a railway from Ulan-Ude to Kulun in Outer Mongolia. The highway was built faster. Now more than half of the local residents do not farm.  They are all working on the Chinese railway construction site. In Chinese terms, this is called work. For relief, wages will be directly replaced by food!  "Kamenev continued.

Trotsky frowned when he heard this. Recently, he had been riding in armored trains on the Eastern and Southern Fronts to direct the battles with the White Guards, so he didn't know much about the activities stirred up by the Chinese in the east. The guy turned around and asked the person in charge of the contract.  Kadiz Dzerzhinsky said,

"Comrade Dzerzhinsky, are all this true? Do we still maintain contact with the guerrillas in the east of Lake Baikal? Didn't we say last time that the Chinese were distributing rations for free there? Now we are offering relief for work.  "Really?" Trotsky asked in disbelief.

"It is a pity that the guerrillas in the east of Lake Baikal suffered heavy losses. The policies adopted by the Chinese there made the guerrillas the enemies of the common people. They could not steal food from the Chinese, so they had to go to the common people's houses in the middle of the night to steal food distributed by the Chinese.  Rations, so they inevitably become enemies, and then become a life-or-death relationship!

Now, the guerrillas in the east of Lake Baikal who were lucky enough to survive have all withdrawn to the west of Lake Baikal and are active in the eastern part of the Siberian Plain occupied by Japan!  "Dzerzhinsky smacked his lips and said.

"The Chinese consolidated the local power so quickly? Is their land policy true? Will the people follow them if the free rations are stopped?" Trotsky was extremely depressed and couldn't help shouting.

"Of course free rations cannot be continued forever. In just two months, the Chinese have consolidated the local power. They now distinguish between relief groups. Those who do not have strong laborers and have food reserves at home can still apply for government relief grains, and those who have laborers can still apply for government relief grains.  Families are using work-for-work relief to help them tide over the food shortage!

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????: Rich farmers and landowners are happy to sell their grain to the government in exchange for half of the cash and half of the food stamps, and the grain deposited also has interest!  All goods shipped from mainland China only accept Chinese banknotes, Zhongyuan.  "

Zinoviev sighed and explained that he has been studying the policies adopted by the Chinese in Siberia in the past half month. Now it seems that the Chinese intend to completely take back this land!

"On the one hand, there is a land resumption and surplus grain collection system, and on the other hand, the Chinese distribute relief grains and work-for-work relief. More than 40 acres of land per capita of middle peasants, rich peasants and landlords are redeemed by the government instead of being confiscated and expropriated for free. What do you think of the common people?  Who would you go with? If you were a Siberian citizen, who would you go with?" Kamenev muttered.

"Kamenev! You are scared out of your wits by the Chinese. Your tone is a complete Socialist Revolutionary. Are you planning to betray our cause and go to Siberia to follow the Chinese?! I suggest that the central government strictly examine Kamenev  Nev and Zinoviev¡¯s right-leaning thoughts and remarks!¡±

Bukharin jumped out and shouted at an inappropriate time!  Last time, Kamenev pushed for Ulyanov to be brought back to take charge of the overall situation, and he was made to step down after only a few days as chairman of the Central Committee. This guy has always been resentful.

"Comrade Bukharin, Kamenev and Zinoviev are studying the policies adopted by the Chinese in Siberia according to my instructions. Don't just blame us. Your tone is similar to the Socialist Revolutionaries attacking us as Germans.  What¡¯s the difference between the spies sent?¡±

Ulyanov was dissatisfied and stopped Bukharin from criticizing Kamenev and Zinoviev. He thought about throwing this guy to the Kazan front line to suffer some hardships so that he would not have to shout loudly all day long.

"Comrade Trotsky, making peace with Germany is a double-edged sword, but international politics has always been like this. The enemy of our enemy is the friend with whom we can unite. I think that the diplomatic strategy of the Soviet Central Committee must make some adjustments. We must first defend and stop  The government here can only consider other things. No matter how good we are, the landlords and rich peasants will follow Kolchaks and they will not look back!"

Ulyanov looked at the Chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Military Council with expectation in his eyes. Obviously, without the approval of the supreme military commander, it would be inappropriate to adjust the diplomatic strategy.

By the beginning of May, after a series of expansions, the Soviet Union now had almost 400,000 Red Army commanders and fighters, who could be scattered in the east, south, north and southwest. If they were spread like pepper, they would not be occupied by the White Guards in any direction.  Advantage, and Trotsky is obviously the one with the highest prestige and status in the entire Red Army. Without his support, the policies of the Soviet Central Committee would never be smoothly implemented.
