July 14, 1918 22:15 Ufa Allied Forces Headquarters

"But my dear gun, wouldn't a unified and powerful Russia be more able to help the Allies defeat Germany and Austria?" Kolchak couldn't help shouting. The highest consul in Russia could not understand Wang Geng's logic.  If the Allied forces could not even eliminate the Soviet Russian regime and the Bolsheviks, which were still in their infancy, how could they defeat a behemoth like Germany and Austria.

As an excellent Tsarist Russian naval admiral, Alexander Vasilyevich Kolchak had a life-and-death battle with the German Navy in the Black Sea Fleet.

Although the Russian Navy has never been able to recover from the defeat in the Russo-Japanese naval battle, even when Kolchak was leading a minelayer with a sparse tonnage, he still dared to take advantage of the heavy fog to get into the rear of the German fleet to lay mines to weaken the enemy.  Shengqiang never did the hard work of narrow escape without blinking an eye.

Kolchak's contempt for the German Navy did not affect his admiration for the German Army. In Kolchak's view, the German Army is the most difficult opponent in the world, regardless of organization, training, logistics support, and weapon configuration.  In terms of tactics, tactics, and battlefield command, it is a very difficult challenge to defeat the German Army with the same strength.

The fighting between the Allied Powers and the Central Powers in the four years of the European War has proved this. Due to the constant need to fight on two fronts, the German and Austrian Allies were at a disadvantage in terms of military strength on both the Western and Eastern Fronts. But even so, the performance of the German army was still  Not inferior to their British and French opponents, no matter who initiated the attack, the losses of the Germans were far less than their ambitious and talented opponents. If the Austro-Hungarian Empire was a little more angry with Turkey, the European War would not have dragged on the intervention of the United States.  .

"Alexander Vasilyevich, I have told you again and again that defeating Germany and Austria is the only way to get rid of the fire once and for all. As long as we defeat Germany and Austria, the Soviet regime may be settled without a fight. This will preserve Russia's vitality for use in  Restore and build!

If the Allied Powers only focus on the Bolsheviks and the Soviet regime in Moscow, they will not be able to deal with Germany and Austria. Once Germany and Austria focus on fighting on the Western Front and defeat the United States, Britain and France, the consequences will be disastrous!  This will be a disaster for the world!  "Wang Geng can be considered sincere. If he can't convince Kolchak, he can only let the facts teach this persistent top consul of Russia a lesson!

"Your Excellency, Commander-in-Chief, let me tell you straight. My All-Russian Provisional Government and I firmly disagree with making peace with the Bolsheviks. Even without the support of the Allied Powers, we will continue the war to the end!" Kolchak finally said.  He raised his face and said harsh words, but he couldn't help but tremble a little in his heart. The young man in front of him was by no means as simple as the commander-in-chief of the coalition forces.

In China and Asia, the Chinese named Wang Geng has almost become the uncrowned king. He single-handedly created the Sino-Japanese alliance, combining the most advanced countries in Asia and the largest country in Asia into a close strategic alliance. This is President Wilson of the United States.  I was afraid that I would not dare to speak loudly in front of this young man now.

We must know that the term of the President of the United States is only four years. Who knows how long this 24-year-old Chinese will be in charge of that ancient and huge country from behind?

Wang Geng saw that Kolchak was a little annoyed and told the truth, and he sighed in his heart. This result was within his expectation. He would not look back until he hit the south wall. This guy who was a Tsarist Russian naval general was far from a mature person.  A politician can only exist as a good naval commander or a spiritual idol. He must lead a regime to achieve long-term victory. Alexander Vasilyevich Kolchak has not yet reached that state.

"Alexander Vasilyevich, I have said everything I need to say. In fact, I quite understand the mood of you and your men in recovering the lost territory and fighting back to St. Petersburg. However, the strategic goals of the Allied Powers and the Allied Forces will not change because of this.  Defeating Germany and Austria on the Eastern Front or holding them back to reduce the Allied pressure on the Western Front is our most important and urgent task!" Wang Geng took a sip of the champagne in his hand and said calmly.

"My gun can defeat the Bolshevik regime in Soviet Russia recognized by Germany and Austria. It can also attract the attention of Germany and Austria and hold back their troops. This is not inconsistent with the strategic goals of the Allies at all!" Kolchak did not give up and still  Struggling hard to convince Wang Geng.

Wang Geng shook his head when he heard this, stretched out a finger and shook it and said, "It is useless to talk more, Alexander Vasilyevich. My friendship with Russia will not be shaken by our differences at the moment, but as an Allied Power  Commander-in-Chief of the Allied Forces on the Eastern Front, I am responsible for the Allied family, of which your Free Russia is now just a little brother."

¡°If you and your government can accept the unified pace and arrangements of the Allied Powers, then I can assure you that no matter what agreement we have signed with Moscow now and what boundaries we have drawn, we will wait until we defeat the Allied Powers in the future.

From Petersburg on the Baltic Coast to Ufa west of the Ural Mountains, this land will become the home of the unified and free Russian people!  You can regard this as my personal commitment to you, if you are willing to work with your government to follow the steps of the Allied Forces.  "

Wang Geng obviously gave Kolchak a bottom line. The implication is that if Kolchak insists on going it alone, everything that will happen in the future will be unpredictable. Whether the Allies will continue to support or admit that they have been exiled in the car.  The All-Russian Provisional Government in Yabinsk is a problem.

After hearing this, Kolchak sat back in his chair slumped, covering his head with a look of pain. Due to the devastation of the famine and war in Russia, the territory in Kolchak's hands now only extends from Kazan to  The industrial and agricultural production capacity of such a small area north of the Kama River at the western foot of the Ural Mountains is weak. Without the continuous food aid from the coalition forces east of the Ural Mountains, Kazan's hundreds of thousands of soldiers and civilians would have trouble even having enough to eat.  , let alone fight all the way to Moscow.

There was silence in the room. Kolchak held his head and was struggling and entangled in pain. Wang Geng lit another cigar, smoking the cigar silently and looking at the highest consul of Russia beside him.

"Sir Gun, when you took away the gold from my treasury, you promised to give me and my government arms and equipment for ten reorganized divisions. You can't just change this matter, right? If you can re-arm  With 300,000 White Guards, we can reach Moscow even with our own strength!" Kolchak finally raised his head, obviously making a decision in his heart.

"I appreciate your courage, Alexander Vasilyevich. If you plan to go it alone, first, I hope you can succeed. Second, I hope you can wake up as soon as possible and return to the embrace of the Allied family.  Come, follow the overall plan of the coalition forces. Since I promised you the arms and equipment of the ten divisions, I will naturally not break my promise!

However, the domestic production capacity of American arms is far from insufficient. At this time, even the domestic participating armies have not been fully equipped with new equipment. The Japanese army on the coalition side is still using Japanese equipment, but in order to express my personal support for you  , some of the weapons and equipment of the Soviet Red Army captured in the Battle of Ufa, especially rifles, can be handed over to your troops. You have to think about the ammunition yourself. We do not have the production or inventory of Mosin-Nagant rifle bullets.  "

Wang Geng sighed, but his words were full of sympathy and support for Kolchak. The highest consul in Russia almost thought that the man had relaxed and agreed to fight with the Soviet Red Army, and then spoke loudly.  Erchak quickly realized that this was Wang Geng's personal support for himself and did not represent a change in the All-Russian Provisional Government's policy and attitude by the Allied Powers.

Sure enough, Wang Geng¡¯s next words made Kolchak¡¯s heart that had just warmed up become cold again.

"Alexander Vasilyevich, among the weapons and equipment captured by the Soviet Red Army, I have collected enough Mosin-Nagant rifles and Maxim machine guns for you to arm ten Russian divisions. There is nothing I can do about the artillery. These ten  The weapons and equipment of each division can be sent to Kazan by train within a week.

However, from now on, it¡¯s up to you and your subordinates to work hard!  We will do our best to provide you with food and other such things, but you will probably have to figure out the bulk of it yourself!  "

"The Allied Powers will separately negotiate an armistice with the Soviet government in Moscow. Of course, it will only be limited to the area controlled by the Allied Forces at this time. I intend to use Kazan in the middle section of the Volga River as the dividing point. The military operations of you and your troops will be limited to Kazan and Kazan.  The same goes for the Soviet Red Army in the upper reaches of the Volga River. If we cross the border, we will make necessary responses. Do you understand what I mean?"

Wang Geng frowned and revealed his plan B to the highest consul in Russia. He and Taro Utsunomiya had discussed this matter before. Kolchak and his White Guards would be bloody if they didn't touch each other, right?  If they will give up the war, then let Kolchak and Moscow continue to fight. The Ufa Plain on the right bank of the Volga River south of the Kamala River will not be returned to the Kolchak regime.

A new Ufa autonomous government will soon be established like the Western Siberian autonomous government east of the Ural Mountains, and an armistice agreement will be reached with Moscow. The two sides will be bounded by the Volga River, and the left bank from Kazan to Saratov will be Soviet Russia.  The controlled area south of Saratov-Kursk including the Tsaritsyn area will be owned by the coalition. Of course, a new Saratov-Tsaritsyn Autonomous Government can be established as a puppet like the Ufa Autonomous Government.  .
