July 21, 1918 18:30 Allied Forces Headquarters Samara

The Allied forces turned the entire Volga Federation into a large barracks under a wartime management system. Since logistics supplies and food were in a tight state, and because the commander-in-chief of the coalition forces did not like luxury and extravagance on the front line, the coalition military meeting in the afternoon was held  The first-stage reorganization and combat tasks were certain. Once the structures of the Southwest Front, Southern Front, and Central Front were established, the wheels of the entire coalition and the Volga Federation began to roll forward at a faster speed.

The deputy commander-in-chief of the coalition forces and the commander-in-chief of the Japanese army, Taro Utsunomiya, was finally able to command the Imperial Japanese Army on his own. While this guy sent a message to the domestic Army Staff Headquarters and the cabinet to report the good news, he also gathered the generals of the Southwest Front to join the coalition forces.  In a small conference room, discussions began all night about the specific reorganization and transportation assembly plan.

Wu Peifu of the Southern Front was no exception. After a quick meal in the small restaurant of the Allied Forces Headquarters, he invited all the generals of the Southern Front to his war room for a secret discussion. Wu Peifu's Southern Front mission was the most complex, and unlike Taro Utsunomiya,  In his Southern Front, the main force of the Chinese participating troops was only one mixed armored first brigade, and the others were Russian infantry divisions and cavalry corps. In other words, the reorganization tasks of the Southern Front were much heavier than those of the Southwest Front.

Moreover, the situation in the Southern Front's combat area is complex. Although the White Guards entrenched in three states are weak, they can still gather tens of thousands of infantry and cavalry. How to fight to stabilize Tsaritsyn once and for all. Ten questions worth thinking about. As for Georgia and  Wu Peifu did not take the two newly independent countries of Azerbaijan seriously. Most of those Islamic cavalry were still in the cold weapon era. They could not even ride a rifle with one man, so they were no match for his own armored forces.

Not to mention that after taking office, the commanders of the two front armies, Utsunomiya Taro and Wu Peifu, were gearing up and rolling up their sleeves to prepare for a big fight. Wang Geng was not idle either. After taking a short rest after dinner, Wang Geng summoned the Central Front Army of the Allied Forces.  All the generals entered their own private small conference room, which was the conference room in the coat room of this guy's office, to discuss the next move.

Of course, at this time, the Allied Forces Central Front Army was only a front army formed by temporarily gathering the troops that had not joined the Southwest Front Army and the Southern Front Army. Since Chief of Staff Jiang Hongyu was assigned to the important position of commander of the Allied Forces Logistics Command, the Central Front Army  The commander can only be concurrently held by Wang Geng, the commander-in-chief of the coalition forces. The Central Front Army Headquarters is actually the coalition headquarters.

As of July 21, 1918, the latest establishment of the Allied forces is as follows:

    1. Allied Southwestern Front: Taro Utsunomiya serves as the commander of the front. The main force is the third, seventh and twelfth divisions of the Japanese Third Army, plus the three Volga divisions of Kursk, Voronezh and Tsaritsyn.  The Federal Army, plus the three armored divisions reinforced by the Allied Chinese Third Army, have a total combat force of 180,000 troops and 20,000 auxiliary baggage and civilian personnel, for a total of 200,000 troops.

The task of the Southwest Front Army is to carry out the Ukrainian campaign. The first stage is to occupy Kharkov, Dnipropetrovsk and Kiev, and eliminate the enemies north and east of the Dnieper River. The second stage is to defend Kiev.

    2. Allied Southern Front: Wu Peifu serves as the commander of the front. The main force is the 1st Mixed Armored Brigade of the 1st Chinese Armored Division of the Allied Forces, plus the three Volga Federal Group Armies of Saratov, Uralsk and Orenburg, plus the Don River Cavalry.  The Third Army and the Fourth Voronezh Cavalry Army have a total combat force of 140,000 troops and 20,000 auxiliary baggage and civilians, totaling 160,000 people.

Wu Peifu¡¯s Southern Front is responsible for the execution of the southern campaign south of Tsaritsyn. It must pacify the North Caucasus White Guards south of Tsaritsyn, and also capture the Baku oil producing area in Azerbaijan, and then Georgia.

    3. Allied Forces Central Front Army: The Commander-in-Chief of the Allied Forces Wang Geng concurrently serves as the Commander of the Front Army. The main forces are the 2nd Mixed Armored Brigade and the 3rd Mixed Cavalry Brigade of the Chinese 1st Armored Division of the Allied Forces, the Ufa Group Army and the Samara Group Army of the Volga Federation, Western Siberia  The autonomous government's 1st and 2nd Siberian Army, the 1st Ural Cavalry Army and the 2nd Volga Cavalry Army have a total combat force of 180,000 troops and 20,000 auxiliary supplies and civilians.

    4. Allied Frontline Air Force: Commander of the Frontline Air Force, Major General Huang Jingbo. The Air Force Headquarters covers Ufa, Pavre, Samara, Saratov, Voronezh, Kursk, Uralsk, and Orenburg.  , Tsaritsyn nine major airports, and rushed to repair and establish frontline field airports at Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Belgorod and Relsk, where the Ukrainian campaign was assembled and launched.

The Allied Frontline Air Force has 6 squadrons of SE5 biplane fighters with 96 aircraft, 6 squadrons of DH4 reconnaissance bombers with 96 aircraft, 6 Handley Page 0400 twin-engine heavy bombers with 72 aircraft, and 2 Handley Page V1500 four-engine heavy bombers.  24 squadrons, 4 Chinese FR18 "Excellence" fighter-bombers, 48 ??aircraft, Hawkeye 1, 2, 3, and 4 airborne early warning aircraft modified by Handley Petty O400With 4 aircraft, the coalition's combat aircraft west of the Ural Mountains reached an astonishing 24 combat squadrons and 340 aircraft.

The coalition's frontline aviation force has about 5,000 airport and ground mechanics, about 2,000 combat pilots, and about 5,000 airport security forces, with a total strength of 12,000.

    5. Coalition Logistics Command: It has jurisdiction over 6 car transport groups with a total of 2,400 Dodge one-and-a-half-ton military trucks, a total of about 300 trains running on the Trans-Siberian Railway and the Volga Left Bank Railway, all trains from Vladivostok, Manchuria, Novosibirsk,  The train station from Chelyabinsk to Ufa and the railway protection troops, railway workers, road construction troops, military depots, as well as the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th regiments of the Allied Forces Engineers Railway Corps, the Allied Forces Anti-aircraft Anti-aircraft Machine Guns  1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Battalions.  The total number of personnel under the jurisdiction of the Logistics Command exceeds 100,000.

In the small conference room of Commander-in-Chief of the Allied Forces Wang Geng,

"Commander-in-Chief, the Southwest Front Army and the Southern Front Army have each undertaken such important campaign tasks. Why is the main force of our Third Army sitting idle in the Central Front Army? My 1st Armored Division should be used to the south to seize the Baku oil fields!"  The speaker was Sun Liangcheng, a young veteran of the armored force among the Chinese generals of the coalition, and the first division-level general in the coalition to take charge of his own affairs.

In the Battle of Ufa, Sun Liangcheng led more than 30,000 people from the southern route to make a huge detour, sneaking along the eastern foot of the Ural Pass to the south of Orenburg, and with the support of the cavalry brigade of the Kazakh Alash Autonomous Republic, they captured Uralsk in one go.  , and then went north to cut off the Samara ferry. He was the general who fought the furthest and achieved brilliant results.

"You can't help but watch the neighboring troops attack? Sun Liangcheng, please listen to me. It is absolutely wishful thinking to rely on one person and one army to conquer the world. I can understand your eagerness to fight. It's not a big deal to be proud of the troops, but it's too much.  It¡¯s dangerous. Before you go to bed tonight, you all should sing the Three Major Disciplines and Nine Points of Attention to me three times!¡± Wang Geng said with a straight face.

"There is absolutely no problem in singing military songs. Our troops don't sing them three times in the morning, noon and evening. Now I can sing them twice as well in Japanese and Russian versions. But my commander-in-chief, our 1st Armored Division in the coalition has always been  Main force, use me in the first battle, and you will win if you use me. Now we are watching the Southwest Front Army and the Southern Front Army show off their skills, but we sit aside and watch the show. I can't convince my subordinates when I go back. Otherwise, you let me lead the troops!  Assault westward, I'll cross the river from Syzlan, I'll go straight to Moscow!"

While Sun Liangcheng was submissive to his commander-in-chief, he came up with a bad idea with his eyes still unwilling to accept it, saying that he would lead his troops across the Volga River to deal with the dead tiger of Soviet Russia!

"Hey, Lieutenant General Sun, this is no joke. We have just signed a peace treaty with the Soviet Union, and the prisoners are still being handed over. If you want to fight like this, won't we, the Volga Federation, become a traitor? How will we deal with others in the future?  ?" Pepelyaev, the Prime Minister of the Volga Federation and the Commander of the Samara Army, couldn't help shouting on the side.

"Nonsense! Sun Liangcheng, sit down!" Wang Geng was really angry this time. The troops and generals he led never only required them to use their brains in battles, but also required them to keep the overall situation in their minds at all times.  The training of senior generals is Wang Geng's consistent requirement. The commander-in-chief of the coalition forces looked at Sun Liangcheng who sat back down with a cold face, and said,

"Sun Liangcheng, I had a meeting this afternoon and said that all the co-authorships were in vain? Do you still have a sense of the overall situation?" Under normal circumstances, Wang Geng would not criticize Chinese generals too harshly in front of Russian generals, but obviously at this moment, the coalition forces  If the arrogance of the Chinese generals continues to develop, it may become arrogant and arrogant in the eyes of friendly generals. What's more, how can the external relations of the coalition forces and the Volga Federation be questioned casually by a few division commander-level generals?

"Lieutenant General Sun, I think you have completely forgotten the overall view mentioned by the Commander-in-Chief. Your armored brigade and armored division have been doing well since the westward march, but now their tail is raised to the sky? Where has the overall view gone?  ? I think you really need to wash your face and sober up!" It was Jiang Hongyu, the chief of staff of the coalition forces, who turned around and said to Wang Geng with a smile,

"Commander-in-Chief, you can understand the mood of the generals below. Why don't you tell them the next phase of the Central Front Army's mission in advance! So that these guys can't sleep at night!" Jiang Hongyu was obviously trying to smooth things over.
