The performance of the SE5 fighter of the Allied Powers exceeded that of the Albatross DIII, and was not much worse than most Fokker aircraft. It was tested in January 1918 and began to be equipped with a large number of German fighter squadrons Fokkerdvii biplane fighter. This classic biplane fighter is compared to the British Camel and  The advantage of SE5 lies in mobility and firepower, while the disadvantage lies in speed and engine power. Fortunately, Goering's 1st Fighter Wing took the lead in installing many of the latest Fokkerdviii high-wing, semi-metallic skinned fighters, which made both sides equally competitive.  The number of airborne aircrafts in the confrontation was evenly matched.

As for night, it must be said that the cross-border reconnaissance flights of the Allied forces at night gave G?ring's wing a great headache. By the time you took off to catch up, they would have already flown away from the border. Several times, the 1st Fighter Wing's  The German boys gritted their teeth and wanted to cross the border and chase after them. As a result, they ran into the Allied Allied Forces' planes, which were at least twice their size and were waiting high in the sky.

The German hunting squadron almost became the prey of the other side, so the two sides continued to maintain a weak balance and tacit understanding. Each other did not take much advantage in several gunshots. No aircraft was shot down, and the injured aircraft also shook their own way.  Swinging Pendulum flew back to his side's base.

The Volga Federation and the Ukrainian Autonomous Government are currently in a situation where they have not officially recognized each other, but have not declared war. It seems that both sides are stalling for time.

July 28, 1918 10:00 German Field Airport 1st Fighter Wing Headquarters in the southern suburbs of Kharkiv

"Captain, the Allied Allied Forces Air Force across the way is doing something bad. Why don't the higher ups give us a few more squadrons? This is really going to start a fight. Our squadrons north of the Dnieper River are obviously not strong enough!"  It was Lieutenant Bruno Luzer, the squadron leader of the 26th Fighter Squadron who had just landed after leading the team to perform the morning patrol mission.

"Bruno, what's the situation with the enemy on the opposite side?" Wing Captain Hermann Wilhelm G?ring asked anxiously, Ruzel, who had just taken over the position of captain of his 26th Fighter Squadron.

"It still looks the same. Don't tell me. The British S.E.5 fighter jet is a good aircraft, but I saw that the machine gun on the coalition's S.E.5 fighter jet is different from the one on the Western Front! It seems to be more powerful.  There are so many. The bullet holes in the two Fokkers we were damaged last time were extremely exaggerated. If they hadn't made an emergency landing and the other side hadn't crossed the border and chased them, they would have been beaten down." Luzer frowned.  The mood is obviously heavy.

Goering smiled bitterly when he heard this, nodded and said, "The intelligence department has figured out from special channels that the S.E.5 equipped by the Chinese is produced and modified domestically, and is replaced with a Browning 12.7mm large-caliber machine gun.  The Vickers 7.7mm machine gun originally installed by the British in the nose was replaced, and the Lewis 7.7 machine gun on the wing was replaced with a Browning 7.62mm air-cooled machine gun! "

"Captain, I don't think the Chinese have fewer aircraft than us. The other side at least has frontline field airports stationed in the directions of Kursk, Voronezh and Tsaritsyn. Is there any Allied Allied Forces in the intelligence system of the General Staff?  Report on the number of the air force? "Lieutenant Luzer was obviously a little shocked. As the commander of the front-line air force fighter squadron, he didn't know the situation of the enemy air force on the opposite side, so he had to ask the intelligence department.

"The situation is unclear, Bruno, this is what worries me the most. Judging from the current entanglement between us and the opponent over the border, the opponent has at least 6 squadrons or more, 3 of which are SE5 fighter squadrons, and 3 are  dh4 two-seat reconnaissance fighter squadron, unfortunately, these two British aircraft are much faster than any of our Albatross or Fokker aircraft!¡±

Hermann Wilhelm Goering was obviously quite helpless. Although the Dutchman Fokker designed nearly 60 types of aircraft for Germany, Fokker's main fighter model was either the Erdri triplane or the Fokkerdvii biplane that was put into production in 1918.  , the maximum flight speed is not as good as the British SE5 and DH4! The only one that is barely close to each other in terms of speed is the Fokkerdviii monoplane fighter that has not yet been put into mass production.

It is an indisputable fact that the German Fokker aircraft have always been at a disadvantage in terms of speed. Of course, the British SE5 A-type aircraft was not yet fully designed when it was first hastily put into battle. The terrifying speed and extremely difficult controllability of this aircraft made this aircraft  The losses were so great that it had to be withdrawn to the factory in the UK for rework and modification. However, when the SE5B aircraft returned to the skies on the Western Front half a year later, this biplane fighter had become the Royal Air Force's trump card for controlling the air.

Throughout 1917, German pilots flying Fokkerdri triplane fighter jets needed to expend great energy and skill, as well as tactics and coordination, to effectively shoot down the British SE5 fighter jets. They were shot down in the Red Baron's shooting record.  The three SE5s and three dh4s of the Allied Powers were able to achieve this result by taking advantage of the opponent's ability to go around to the back and top and suddenly swoop down like an eagle when attacking the ground.

By the end of July 1918, the Allied Air Force on the Eastern FrontThe flight-related performance of the equipped se5 fighter is as follows: <speed: 138mph (222kmh)

    Range:300miles(483km)

The relevant data of the Allied Air Force reconnaissance bomber dh4 is: <peed:143mph (230kmh)

    Range:?470miles(770km)

    Seiceceiling22,000ft(6700m)
