At the beginning of the division of troops from Cheboksary to the south, the Western Cluster of the White Guards under Kolchak's personal command had a total of five main cavalry divisions, 10 artillery companies and 10 heavy machine gun battalions. The total strength of the Western Cluster was nearly 60,000.  ¡¾¡¿

Kolchak's deputy Guillaume Nikolayevich Hastings served as the former enemy commander of the White Guards' Eastern Group. The main 6 infantry divisions of the Eastern Group strengthened 12 artillery companies and 8 heavy troops.  The total strength of the machine gun battalion is nearly 70,000, and together with the two cavalry divisions to the east, the total strength is more than 90,000.

After four consecutive days of marching and fighting, the two southbound clusters of Kolchak and Hastings merged smoothly 60 kilometers northwest of Simbirsk, while the preparations of the Kazan White Guards' Western Cluster and Eastern Cluster were reunited on both sides.  After the reunification, it was cancelled, but replaced by the 1st Kazan Army and the 2nd Army. Kolchak's cavalry-based Western Group was actually renamed the 1st Kazan Army, while Hastings was named the 1st Kazan Army.  The Eastern Group, which was mainly infantry, was renamed the 2nd Kazan Army.

The supreme consul of Russia, Admiral Alexander Vasilievich Kolchak, also served as the commander of the 1st Kazan Army. The 1st Kazan Army was responsible for the 1st, 2nd and 2nd Don Cossack Cavalry.  The 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Divisions, and his Chief of Staff Guillaume Nikolayevich Hastings also served as the commander of the 2nd Army in Kazan, the 2nd Army  It has jurisdiction over the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th Kazan Infantry Divisions and the reinforced Kazan 10th Infantry Division.

The Northern Cluster that stayed in the Iron Triangle of Cheboksary turned into the 3rd Kazan Army, which administered the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Kazan Infantry Divisions as well as the Kazan Volunteers to supplement the strength of the 4 divisions of the 1st Division.  , made great achievements on the northern front, and bluffed to hold back the 3rd Army of the Soviet Red Army and the 1st Kazan Infantry Division of the 5th Army. Commander Pyotr Andreevich Glinov was promoted from the commander of the Northern Group.  He became the commander of the 3rd Kazan Army.

"What to do? Your Excellency, Commander-in-Chief, Andrei Andreevich Pyatov's 4th Cossack Cavalry Division is currently located about 30 kilometers north of Syzran, Vladimir Vikmo  The 5th Cavalry Division led by Vych Bayramov is located 25 kilometers south of Simbirsk. The distance between the two divisions is less than 10 kilometers"  We penetrated the position of the Soviet 8th Army and passed through it. Although the results were brilliant, we were already too exhausted to move. It is absolutely impossible to withdraw before 6 o'clock tomorrow morning!"

The one who stood up anxiously and shouted was the cavalry general Roman Mikhailovich Krashilnikov, who was the chief of staff of the Kazan 1st Army. This Cossack leader felt sorry for his group of Cossack cavalry.  The men and horses kept marching at night, exhausted, and the men and horses rested for less than 6 hours every day. He was originally firmly opposed to tonight's night attack because the troops were too tired, but Hastings insisted.  It is believed that the Soviet 8th Army, which hurriedly went north to reinforce the 10th Army, was also exhausted. The opponent was traveling on two legs, but our cavalry was a four-legged team after all.

"The troops should not have been divided in the first place. Now that the two divisions are separated, they are weak and there are wounded. How can we evacuate? And then fight back from the defense areas of the two armies of the Soviet Red Army? Even gods can't do it. Don't look at it.  We defeated at least one of the opponent's infantry divisions, but the losses of the 3rd and 4th Cavalry Divisions were not small, with at least 2,000 casualties." Beiyang 1917 Chapter 746 (Who is willing to be cowardly in the First World War? "Many people  , If you ask me, it was a mistake to rush eastward when we retreated. Now we have summoned the Volga Federation troops If we don't disarm, we will be destroyed. Do we really want to go to war with Pepelyaev's troops? "

The one who was imprisoned was Lieutenant General Sergey Nikolayevich Dimilev, the chief of staff of the 2nd Kazan Army. This man had not objected to dispatching cavalry divisions to attack the Soviet Red Army at night, but he was opposed to opportunism.  They had to evacuate to the non-military buffer zone. On the night of the first quarter moon, the moon would not rise until early in the morning. Naturally, they had to light torches in such a dark way. But by lighting torches, how could the whereabouts of the troops not be exposed?  The patrol planes of the coalition forces in the sky are non-stop 24 hours a day. They enter the non-military buffer zone designated by the other party without permission. It would be strange if they don't attract wolves!

"Of course we can't start a war You can't provoke the King of China by provoking anyone. Pepe is very exciting now as the puppet prime minister. His Bundeswehr has organized 8 army groups with 300,000 people, as well as several cavalry corps.  If we really want to fight, even if we join forces with the Soviet Volga Front, we may not be able to defeat the Volga Federation!" Hastings waved his hand and interrupted Dimilev with a sullen expression. "Beiyang 1917"  if.

Alexander Vasilyevich Kolchak, who was sitting on the table, had an equally ugly face. When he asked the night attack troops to evacuate, he avoided the interception of the Soviet Red Army and did the opposite, heading east into the non-military buffer.  The area was not only a tactical need, but also a test balloon he released to inquire about the attitude and position of the Volga Federation and the Allied Eastern Front Allied Forces towards the Soviet Russian side and his own Kazan White Guards who were fiercely fighting on the left bank of the Volga River.

It is obvious that although tonight's night attack has achieved great results, according to the telegram returned by Pyatov, the commander of the 4th Cavalry Division, he killed the chief of staff of the opposing group army and defeated the 12th Infantry Division of the 8th Army. This is still the 8th Army.  Of course, the main divisions of the group army, and the two cavalry divisions that went into the night attack, suffered heavy casualties, each losing about 2 cavalry battalions.

Because he was pretending to be the Budyonny Cavalry of the Soviet Red Army, he deceived the sentries guarding the first line of defense, and then successfully rushed into the rear of the opponent's defense line. If he turned around and fought back, he might not be able to break out, but the opponent was  How could it be so easy to break through the defense line held by three infantry divisions after fighting back?  Moreover, the Soviet 10th Army Group to the north has already sent 2 divisions to the south for reinforcements!

By running eastward, at least the pursuers of the Soviet Red Army were left outside the demilitarized buffer zone. Now Kolchak is a little regretful. He should also introduce the pursuers of the Soviet Red Army into the demilitarized buffer zone. That would be easier.  At least they can fish in troubled waters, and they won't be like now. The Volga Federation cannot be trusted to pretend to be Budyonny's troops, and the pursuers of the Soviet Red Army are still stunned and stay in the west of the demilitarized buffer zone and refuse to come in.

However, Giddis's defense line was disrupted in this way. In addition to the 8th Army's vitality being severely damaged, the entire defensive formation was also torn out of shape!
