"How do you complete the mission? As long as you have the courage to fight to the end, no matter what the outcome, you are the heroes of the 10th Group Army, and you have completed the mission! Of course you cannot retreat south again Where there are no enemies, you will  Where to break out, go northwest to Saransk, go east to the demilitarized zone, these army headquarters do not have any mandatory regulations, but there is one thing, you must not become a prisoner of the White Guards again! Otherwise, no one can save you!"

Gidis stared seriously at Fediko in front of him, speaking word by word, thinking in his mind, this kid won't be a prisoner again, right?  Regardless of whether you should be treated as a prisoner or not, the division commander's political commissar and staff officers in the headquarters have heard it now. As the commander of the group army, I have issued an order. You and your cavalry detachment will definitely no longer be treated as prisoners of the White Guards!  "", all text typed by hand

"Got it! It's done! I swear to the death that I will not be captured by Kolchak. I will pick up the 41st Infantry Division and choose the breakout direction on my own! Comrade Commander! Do you have any other instructions?!" Ivan Fedorovich Fedikoka's  One stood at attention and gave a non-standard military salute.  §êw§ë

"Milosh! Bring my horse! Ivan Fedorovich, just mount my horse and fight hard! The cavalry detachment will set off in 20 minutes, and the army will use all its artillery to clear the way for you! Everyone is waiting for your victory  News!" Giddis tightly held the hand of the new cavalry detachment leader.  ""look

Twenty minutes later, the artillery on the position of the 10th Army of the Soviet Red Army roared to the north. Four artillery companies lined up with 24 76mm mountain field guns and launched a fierce bombardment at the White Guards Cavalry Division position 5 kilometers away.  The intermittent artillery fire was quite fierce, and it hit from 5 kilometers, 55 kilometers, 6 kilometers to 7 kilometers away. The rapid bombardment in just 20 minutes filled the Don River White Guards Cavalry Division position with smoke and turned people upside down.

Fediko's cavalry detachment took this opportunity to quietly pass through the 1st and 2nd Don Cavalry Divisions of the Kolchak White Guards from the center of the battlefield along the woods along a tributary of the Bazar River.  The junction of divisions.  Heading all the way north towards the town of Bazarnesetsgan

July 31, 1918 10:30 Headquarters of the 41st Infantry Division of the Soviet Red Army in Bazarnesetsk Town, 60 kilometers due north of Kuznetsk

"Division Commander! The enemy's artillery fire was too fierce The brigade's forward position was breached twice by the enemy. The commander of the main 162nd Regiment was killed and the political commissar was seriously injured. The whole regiment only has less than 2 battalions left. My  The brigade guard company has been fully filled up to the position of the 162nd Regiment" Amidst the roar of artillery, the call came from the phone to Alexander Alexandrovich Marenni, commander of the 81st Infantry Brigade guarding the main position on the west side.  Qi screamed for help.

"Alexander Alexandrovich, the enemy is also attacking fiercely in the northeast. One battalion of the 163rd Regiment of the 82nd Brigade is left. Brigadier Alexey Alexeyevich Robko led the brigade guard company  We have just reached the top, where do you want me to send you reinforcements? The 161st Regiment is to defend the southwest, and the 164th Regiment is to defend the southeast!" Division Commander Trachev said!  He opened the collar of his military uniform and shouted into the microphone.

After 10 a.m., the White Guards surrounding the town of Nesetzgan in Bazar were reinforced by artillery fire from at least three artillery companies. The offensive suddenly became fierce. Four infantry regiments of the 41st Infantry Division placed around the town were successively encountered.  Facing the enemy's attack from at least one brigade, especially from the northwest and northeast, the opponent invested heavily in the attack. The 7,000 troops remaining when the 41st Infantry Division withdrew all the way to the town of Bazar Nesetsk were attacked by the enemy.  Under the artillery bombardment and desperate attack, nearly 2,000 people were injured or killed in just half an hour!

The logistics personnel of the division and brigade have all been replenished to the front-line combat troops, but the number of wounded has increased sharply, and the situation has become increasingly critical. If the Bazar River behind it had not acted as a natural barrier and barrier, the Bazar could not have been reached.  The town of Sertsk was lost early on. Unlike the 1st and 2nd White Guard Cavalry Divisions that were the first to attack and surround the town, the 6th and 5th Cavalry Divisions coming from the north were obviously serious about taking over the town.  Tkachev's division is surrounded!

If the town was not big enough and there were many stone houses, Tkachev would not be able to defend the town if he could not deploy a division of troops. Now his defensive positions have been adjusted from the east and west lines to the northwest, northeast, and southwest.  and the southeast four blocks, because the White Guard cavalry actually started to swim across the Bazar River to attack!

Since the Maxim heavy machine gun bullets were consumed very quickly, and the machine gun positions were overturned by the White Guards' shelling many times, Tkachev's troops mostly used volleys of guns to shoot rabbits to guard the northeastern defense line across the river.  The main road to the west of the town had long been dug out, and the Red Army's heavy machine guns played a key role in guarding the western position.

The two White Guard cavalry divisions that surrounded the town suffered heavy casualties even after repeated attacks failed. The 6th Baghev Cavalry Division, which was responsible for the attack in the west, had lost two and a half cavalry battalions. The Baila, who was attacking across the river in the east,  ?The husband's 5th Cavalry Division suffered greater casualties. More cavalry were drowned in the river than were killed by the Soviet Red Army. At least 3 cavalry battalions were lost!

Of course, life was not easy for the 41st Infantry Division of the Soviet Red Army. Responsible for guarding the two western positions to resist the White Guard's western offensive was the 81st Brigade of the 41st Infantry Division of Marenich. The main force, the 163rd Regiment, guarded the main northwest position.  The 162nd Infantry Regiment, which had suffered heavy losses along the way and had only two battalions left, guarded the southwest position.

As for Robko's 82nd Infantry Brigade, the nearly full 163rd Infantry Regiment defended the narrow defense line in the northeastern river section. However, during the southward retreat, only two battalions of the 164th Infantry Regiment, which suffered heavy casualties, guarded the southeastern defense line.  By 10:30, nearly half of the 41st Infantry Division had suffered casualties especially after the opponent's artillery joined the battle!

The four companies of the division's heavy machine gun battalion also suffered more than half of their casualties on the positions in all directions. There were only 10 Maxim heavy machine guns that could be fired, and the bullets were becoming more and more tense. On the western position, the 162nd Infantry Brigade of the 81st Infantry Brigade fought twice with bayonets.  Only then did they drive out the White Guards who rushed in The Cossacks who dismounted and attacked were still brave and fearless of death. Both sides were bleeding like rivers. It depends on who can persist to the end

"Division Commander, let me take the communications platoon up! The 162nd Regiment's position must be defended no matter what. Once the west side is breached, the town cannot be defended!" Division political commissar Agaptsev volunteered in a hoarse voice.
