Before the launch of the Battle of the Volga River in Kazan between the Soviet Red Army and the White Guard, the Kazan regime, which claimed to be the provisional government of all Russia, only really controlled the territory of Kazan Province, and due to the Chuvash State at that time  and Cheboksary, the state capital, are still controlled by the Soviet Red Army, which makes Kolchak, the highest governor in Russia, can only control Tatarstan and Mariel, which together only have 9.12 million square kilometers.  It can only be implemented in the territory.  §êw§ë

This is also the reason why after the White Guards of Kazan Kolchak took the oath to send troops, the first target of attack was Chuvash Oblast and Cheboksary. For the soldiers of the White Guards Infantry Division with the theme of Kazan Tatars, attacking westward  Recovering Kazan Province and Chuvash Oblast and Cheboksary, which were our own when the Kazan Khanate was ours, are tasks and missions that do not require mobilization at all.

This is why, after the main force of Kolchak's White Guards recaptured Chuvash Oblast and Cheboksary at a bloody cost, the main force of the Kazan Infantry Division, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Divisions, formed the Northern Cluster and the 3rd Kazan Infantry Division.  The reason why the Army Group resolutely defended Cheboksary and Chuvash Oblast.

Speaking of which, after the war started until this point, Kolchak's Kazan regime was able to hold the three states of Kazan Province in its hands. Even so, the combined area of ??the three states was only 10.95 million square meters.  kilometers, after four years of ravages of the European War and the Russian Civil War, the total population of the entire Kazan regime's 10.95 million square kilometers of land is only 2.3 million.

Compared with the Volga Federation, which has a territory of more than 1 million square kilometers and a population of more than 10 million, it is not an exaggeration to describe Kolchak and his All-Russian Provisional Government in Kazan as precarious and weak.

"Alexander Vasilyevich, those who are still following you are warriors who once held extremely firm faith in our cause. However, if the relationship with the Allied Forces on the Eastern Front and the Volga Federation is not resolved, it will not be properly resolved.  Regarding this so-called non-military buffer zone, I ask myself that I am not able to continue to contribute my strength to the All-Russian Provisional Government and the White Guards. I plan to retire and go abroad to France, England or the United States"

Sergey Nikolayevich Dimilev was Kolchak's most loyal subordinate and follower in his early days. Their relationship can be traced back to the St. Peter's Naval Academy. After graduation, the two joined the Tsarist Russian Navy together.  Dimilev was also invited to participate in the Arctic expedition with Kolchak as a hydrographic expert sent by the navy. At that time, scientists from various countries became extremely interested in the unexplored Arctic zone and organized expedition teams to investigate.

At the end of 1899, Kolchak, who was still serving in the Baltic Fleet, received an invitation from the famous Russian polar explorer Baron Thor, inviting him to join the Arctic expedition as a hydrologist.  In the summer of 1900, the icebreaker "Dawn" carrying Thor's expedition team weighed anchor and headed for the New Siberian Islands in the Arctic Ocean.

In the spring of 1902, the expedition team finally reached the New Siberian Islands, but the route to the north was blocked by ice packs. Kolchak and others had to return along the original route. Sergey Nikolayevich Dimilev served as  Kolchak's assistants and partners participated in the entire expedition as experts sent by the navy.

In 1906, Kolchak's academic book "Ice Accumulation in the Kara and Siberian Seas" won the Grand Constantine Gold Medal, the highest award of the Royal Geographical Society of Tsarist Russia.  In 1910, he sailed in the Far East Sea with the icebreaker "Vajach Island" and drew maps and nautical charts.  Later, people opened up the Arctic Ocean routes based on these navigation charts, and Dimilev also followed Kolchak closely in participating in these voyages.

After the outbreak of the European War in 1914, when Kolchak commanded a minelayer of the Baltic Fleet, Dimilev was his deputy. In 1916, when Kolchak was promoted to vice admiral and appointed commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Dimilev was  Milev remained his deputy and chief of staff.  Under the leadership of the two of them, the Black Sea Fleet also made outstanding achievements in the Black Sea. It sank many German ships in Constantinople and firmly held control of the Black Sea in the hands of the Russian army.

Although the relationship between the two parties had become quite awkward due to the triangular relationship between Kolchak and Anna Dimilev, the two men finally ended up with Dimilev and Anna for the happiness of the woman they both loved.  Divorce was the ultimate relief, and Kolchak sent his wife and daughter to France. In Kazan, Anna remained the personal secretary and translator of the supreme consul of Russia, although Kolchak himself was proficient in four foreign languages.  Also includes Chinese.

For Dimilev, a partner and assistant who has followed Kolchak for more than 20 years, although the Kazan regime currently does not have a navy, Dimilev has a lot of use, but Kolchak  The trust and mutual dependence between Kolchak and Dimilev have never changed, but today, at this moment, Dimilev, who has always been elegant, pedantic and a bit cowardly in front of Kolchak for decades, finally can no longer bear it.  The current chaos makes it difficult to see the future dilemma.

"We followThe Bolsheviks are not at odds with each other. This depends not only on you and me, but also on the Bolsheviks in Moscow who are obsessed with doctrine and class struggle. Either we destroy them and take back the beautiful homeland that once belonged to us, or we  Destroyed by them!  As long as the Volga Federation and the Allied Powers continue to support us, I still have enough confidence to fight to Moscow and Petrograd, liberate the people and the land from the iron heel of the Bolsheviks, and rebuild the glorious Russia!  "

Kolchak stared closely into Dimilev's eyes, made a fist with one hand and hit the table hard, emphasizing that he would never compromise with Moscow. In addition to making a loud noise, Kolchak also made three people come forward.  The dinner plates and knives and forks all jumped!

"That's right! Alexander Vasilyevich, but are the Allies supporting us now? Where do we really support the establishment of the Volga Federation? Where do we support the nonsense of the demilitarized buffer zone? Take a step back.  To put it bluntly, the Volga Federation maintains official neutrality, but we paid the price of tens of thousands of casualties of the main force. Is the result just to send tens of thousands of Soviet Red Army prisoners of war to the Volga Federation?

They didn¡¯t even fire a single shot, they just sent a few telegrams, airdropped a few paratroopers, sent a battalion of cavalry to the outpost, and took for themselves the spoils of our victory in the decisive battle on the southern front, including people and equipment!
