In the fierce battle yesterday afternoon, the 13th Volga Federal Infantry Division deployed two infantry regiments to launch an attack on Kharkov. Although a large number of enemies were annihilated, they failed to break through the circular defense line in the north of Kharkov.  The troops suffered more than 1,300 casualties. The two artillery battalions of the division's artillery regiment were almost completely destroyed, leaving only three 75mm field guns. It was estimated that more than 1,200 enemy soldiers were wiped out, and about two 75mm field artillery batteries and two 150mm heavy-duty guns were destroyed.  Howitzer Battery.  §êw§ëFirst,

The division never forgets the past. Although the artillery unit was completely wiped out and the 51st and 49th infantry regiments suffered heavy casualties, on the morning of July 31, the Federal Army commanded by Liukin Alexeevich Voronezh  The 13th Infantry Division continued to assume the main task of siege. The reason is very simple. In yesterday's battle, the 18th Infantry Regiment of Eizaki Masako on the left fought fiercely with the 1st Infantry Division of the Ukrainian National Army in the Kharkov Forest. Although  Most of the enemy was wiped out, but the 18th Infantry Regiment suffered nearly half casualties and all the artillery was wiped out. This morning, a reserve infantry brigade and a reserve artillery squadron were just added.  ",

On the right wing, the 6th Infantry Regiment of the 5th Infantry Brigade under the personal command of Kikuchi Shinnosuke suffered nearly 800 casualties in the three infantry brigades during the German night attack out of the city last night.  The 6th Infantry Regiment has also lost its troops. The 3rd Division's replenishment brigade will not be able to replenish Kikuchi Shinnosuke's 6th Infantry Regiment until noon today. Belgorod can also only provide troops to the 6th Regiment.  The team was supplemented by a reserve artillery squadron.  ""look

The fresh troops and reserves of the 3rd Division and Muto Nobuyoshi's 23rd Infantry Brigade have crossed the river and moved eastward. On the frontal battlefield on the northern front of Kharkov, if they want to launch an attack, in fact, only Voronezh's 13th Infantry Division can launch an attack.  Only those who are reluctant can be on the front line.

In the trench and fortification areas, the Chinese armored units attached to the Central Route Army use wheeled armored combat vehicles. They are restricted by the anti-tank trenches on the ground during positional attacks. Even if they are dispatched, they can only serve as active machine gun fire points to provide firepower.  Support, to attack the enemy's position, you have to rely on infantry!

If in the attack yesterday afternoon, Voronezh commanded his 13th Federal Infantry Division to catch the Ukrainian Volunteer Division defending the city by surprise, then after experiencing the strength and firepower of the opponent's position defense, Voronezh no longer planned to  Continue the same offensive approach as yesterday.

Today, this guy has to fight steadily, constantly make tentative attacks, lure the enemy to counterattack, and then use his own artillery fire to continuously kill and annihilate the opponent's firepower points, and then press forward step by step to compress the opponent's position!

This is also the reason why the 13th Infantry Division took the time to carry out civil engineering work and dig communication trenches early in the morning. It would be its own soldiers who would charge into the battle later. It was obviously a bad idea to rely on human sea tactics to fight the Kharkov Battle. Voronezh hoped  The middle army can use a sea of ??fire tactic!

As a senior general of the Volga Federal Defense Forces, although the officers who were loyal to the Federation out of the prison camp did not last long, during their stay in Samara, Liukin Alexeevich Voronezh, together with other federal division-level generals, was still fortunate enough to participate in  A three-day rapid battlefield training course for senior federal generals. As the commander-in-chief of the federal armed forces, the King of China personally taught the class. The three-day course arrangement was compact and exciting. What left the deepest impression on Voronezh was the words of the King of China.  :

Real victory can never be achieved by luck alone. Only sweat and wisdom can bring you a harvest!

    July 31, 1918 9:00 Kharkov North Battlefield

The 13th Federal Infantry Division in Voronezh commanded by Liukin Alexeyevich is an elite infantry division in the Volga Federal Defense Forces and the main force of the Voronezh Group Army commanded by Lieutenant General Stepin. This division was formerly the 14th Infantry Division of the Soviet Red Army.  Division, under the command of Yegorov's 9th Army of the Soviet Southern Front.

This unit was first established on May 9, 1918, when the Soviet Red Army transferred personnel from the Third Reserve Army to form the Voronezh Militia Division. On May 20, the unit was awarded the designation of the Second Kursk Militia Division, 1918  On June 21, 2011, in compliance with the orders of the Ninth Army of the Soviet Red Army, the Moscow Army Brigade, the 21st Moscow Cadre Regiment and the 2nd Kursk Militia Division merged to formally establish the 14th Infantry Division of the Red Army.

In Wang Geng¡¯s previous life, in October 1918, the 14th Infantry Division went to the front line of the Soviet-Russian Civil War and began to fight against the Denikin White Army and the Cossack White Army. It moved to the Kuban area and took on the role of guarding the coast of the Sea of ??Azov in October 1919.  In 1920, the division received the Honorary Revolutionary Red Banner, and in May 1920, it received the honorary title.  On September 13, 1921, the troops were reorganized into the 3rd and 4th Caucasus Infantry Brigades. The original 14th Infantry Division was disbanded and the division headquarters was abolished.

In this time and space in 1918, during the Battle of Ufa, the 14th Infantry Division commanded by Liukin Alexeevich Voronezh, under the command of the Group Army Chief of Staff Stepin, covered the wounded and retreated along the road to Samara. The coalition forces  The 4th Armored Regiment, which was mixed into the 2nd Armored Brigade, finally arrived in Kamesh, 20 kilometers southwest of Severno County. On the road near the village, we caught up with the division led by the Ninth Army Chief of Staff Stepin who was retreating along the road.

Stepin had 9 artillery companies, 5 heavy machine gun battalions and an infantry division of more than 7,000 people. In order to cover the wounded, he simply stopped to build a position and block the pursuers. In the end, he was defeated by 96 large aircraft groups of the Allied Air Force at 3,000.  The Voronezh Division of the Ninth Army was defeated by horizontal bombing in the air. At 3:30 pm on July 12, 1918, the Voronezh Division of the Ninth Army, under the command of the Army Chief of Staff Stepin, had to lay down its weapons and surrender under the pressure of the Allied Air Force and ground armored forces.

In this air strike, 1,500 people of the Ninth Army were killed and 2,000 wounded. The remaining more than 6,000 soldiers of the Voronezh Division and the original more than 8,000 lightly wounded soldiers of the entire Ninth Army, as well as chief of staff Stepin, division commander Liukin, and division political commissar Xiao  Hoff and others became prisoners of the coalition forces.

The 4th Armored Regiment commanded by Ruhuai of the Allied Mixed Armored Second Journey set a new battlefield record. With the cooperation of the aviation team, an armored regiment of 2,500 troops defeated the opponent's team of nearly 18,000 people, and captured as many as 16,000 people.  .
